Bug in Time-Zone settings on LSFW?
Hi everyone

I have to set my time-zone to GMT-2 (central europe)
to see the right clock times in 'race results' on LSFWorld.

But I am from Germany, so GMT+1 would be the right setting.

When I set it to GMT-2, clock times are right, but my daytime is wrong.
Means, my day isnt over at 23.59-0.00, it's some hours apart from my time
(dunno yet, think it's 3 hours, cause it works when i set time-zone to GMT+1).

Anyone else already experienced this problem?
Btw. I had that in S1 already, not since S2.
hmm yeah, you're the first to mention that + and - are the other way around! Funny :P

well, just use -2 for now - it's the correct setting for you. And the change of day (I assume you mean the moment at which your racer stats sheet shifts day) is because of the internal time of the server, which is UK time, so one hour behind us, meaning the day shifts at 1am for central europe. I know it's not ideal and as it should be, but the stats process code has been written a while ago and it's kind of hard to change that part now.

Hi Victor

Thanx for quick answering!
I see. GMT-2 for me.

+/- are the other way around?
So it should be GMT+2 for me then, but I'm GMT+1 (Paris, Berlin etc.),
maybe it's because of summer-/winter time?

And good to know the sheet-data's changing at UK time.
Thought it depends on your GMT settings too.

Btw. you guys doing great work with LfS!!
Yeah, its cos of daylight saving time. We in the UK are currently on British Summer Time (BST) which is 1 hour head of GMT. So you guys are still one hour ahead of BST, hence +2 hours, or - 2 hours in LFS land

I wouldn't waste a thread about it, but another problem concerning time.
On the Online Race Results page, the week starts with Sunday. I'd prefer Monday.
I know you can set a preference on the forum for 'Start of week day'. Default is Sunday. Maybe something like that is present?
no there currently is no 'start of week' option at lfsworld. But I can put that on my list to add for the future.

Sure, I'll wait .
