Pitting rules:
Race requires a minimum time spent in pitstall of 10 seconds. That can be done either with single pitstop or sum of multiple pitstops. Driver who has spent less time will receive penalty time added to his finish time, which will be calculated by tripling the missing time to complete neccesary minimum time and adding additional 5 seconds. Drivers failing to pit at all will receive 1 minute penalty added to finish time (10s*3 + additional 30s).

The LFS's own Catherham version is actually the fastest road legal car of LFS - only in terms of curved racetracks of course. 190 horsepower might not sound a lot,but coupled with very light chassis, the car reaches power to weight ratio of proper supercar. And this car was properly set to test this tuesday in South City's Chicane Route, where the 1 minutes 10 seconds lap had plenty of challenges each time around and many drivers had trouble dealing with them.

The driver with an active winning streak was joined by his RandomCar main rival on front row and was accompanied by him half of the race long, but eventually the RTFR XL first timer J.Holmes retired leaving all the glory to M. The lithianian stretched his winning streak to 3 races, becoming 5th driver who was able to win 3 or more races in row. 5th is also his new all-time RTFR success rank - by scoring his 5th race win,7th pole position (tied 4th most) and 4th fastest lap of the race M overtook 2 drivers in the rank, additionally earning his 9th top5 finish. If one streak was carried further, another one was ended - R.Kardol came to this race as defending 2-time LX6 race winner, but found himself uncompetitive for main glory, finishing 2nd after rather dissapointing qualifying - 48th top5 finish for the dutchman. J.Lavrikov started 3rd and finished 3rd to score his 4th top5 finish while 4th was the last driver on lead lap - Unite also finished in same position he started from, reaching quarter-century count of top5 finishes. Best of the drivers not being able to complete full race distance was Thehemuli in 5th position - that is only his 2nd top5 finish, previous was on last race of previous year.

* FUN FACT OF THE MONTH :
Even if 24 drivers attending was not braking any records, the 23 drivers on grid is repeated largest number in all 5 RTFR XL races with LX6,but the finishers count of 20 is one more than previous highest. Interestingly the smaller LX brother has even higher attendance record (32 attendees) however races with LX4 never produced more than 19 finishers,so this race had the highest finishers count between both LX cars.

* CLOCK PITTER OF THE RACE :
...is yours truly - 10.11 seconds workfree pitstop was the best between the two without work, other one being just 0.04s longer. There was also one faster legal pitstop, however Unite refuelled the car.

* FIELD RUSHER OF THE RACE :
Madjester did not put a lot of effort in qualifying as he was only 21st,but in race found much more pace to finish 9th,making a 12 positions gain during the race.

VOD at Youtube:

As long as there is winning streak, the combo selection will be given to 2nd place finisher (unless he is locked out too),this time it is R.Kardol - he still has not sumbitted his selection,so it's currently unknown what and where we will run in 4 weeks. But we know what we will race next week - you can get some clues from broadcast of previous normal RTFR or simply wait for weekend when full info will be posted. In 2 weeks racing will be turned a bit random once again - the 4th round of the season will use the same track as this race, just in other direction.
