Description
XFG WRC
The XF GTI, reimagined in a 2017-21 WRC spec. Made to be effectively legal in the ruleset, it boasts an inline 4 1.6 turbo producing 383 bhp/465 Nm, put down through AWD via a sequential gearbox. Combined with aggressive aero, the performance is incredible - incredible cornering ability, fast acceleration and the best stage times.
The project is still WIP. Main points of work include:
- Refining the model: the interior lacks detail, the exterior is somewhat lacking in some areas and has some funky shading in parts
- Working the physics: The current physics is highly dependent on high amounts of aero, because LFS doesn't offer a proper rally semi-slick to use on the car. Road supers have too little grip, while slicks are way too grippy. This makes it difficult to make the car handle like it should since it won't have the correct characteristics at different speeds
- Sounds: I'm not a particularly good sound creator and I don't have the samples to use to make it better, so maybe someone can help with this!
- Texturing: Need to add more textures, especially to the interior
