Description
Legendary 90s FWD Czech rally car
Lets celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Škoda Felicia with a licensed Live for Speed mod!
Škoda Felicia Kit Car was a famous FWD rally car produced by Škoda Motorsport in 90s based on a small family hatchback Škoda Felicia. Driven by legendary drivers such as Stig Blomqvist or Pavel Sibera, the cars competed in a 2000cc rally class and despite lower cubature (1.3, 1.5 or 1.6-litre) proved successful on both tarmac and gravel stages. About 50 cars were made.
This mod is a detailed licensed replica of a 1996 model equipped with a naturally aspirated 1.6-litre engine, a 6-speed mechanical gearbox which allowed clutch-less shifting and a limited slip differential. The car had a completely adjustable front axle geometry and live adjustable brake balance. A stronger rear axle came from the Felicia Pickup. A body came from the stock Felicia (rally cars were much closer to their stock versions back in the time).
Realism note:
The mod is tuned according to technical specifications obtained from FIA homologation archives. The tire size is slightly tweaked because of current simulation limitations. For a realistic experience the force feedback should be set to 80 - 100. To be more versatile for LFS players, all tire compounds are allowed for personal setups, however, slicks should be used only in a combination with stiffened and lowered setups to prevent rolling the car. The mod includes additional configurations for rallycross and circuit races, along with an original rally look. The original gearbox is not supported in the current LFS version and had to be approximated by an usual H-pattern gearbox (unfortunately this solution does not support clutch-less shifts). The car used R15 wheels for gravel and R17 for asphalt. I am planning to add R17 in the future, if more tire sizes will be available for one mod car in the LFS.
Special thanks
I would like to thank to very nice people from Škoda Auto a.s. who helped me to get an official license for this mod and to the LFS Rally Community, for some phenomenal testing rally layouts.
TODO:
- better engine sound
- faster default setups after community testing feedback

Disputes
Vehicle Mods have to undergo a review process to hopefully avoid any future disputes about inappropriate or unauthorised content. If however some detail has been overlooked during the review process and you wish to address this, you can file a dispute by contacting the LFS developers.
We will review every report and typically get back to you within 48 hours.
Included Skins
Skin Templates Kit
The LFS Vehicle editor provides options to create skin templates. A template helps you create skins for a vehicle by giving you the outlines of the vehicle's shape, within which you can draw the livery that will be drawn onto the vehicle.
There are 4 types of templates:
- Shaded skin template
- Black and white skin template
- White background wireframe template
- Black background wireframe template
