Progress so far - this is my method, I need to visually adjust it in Blender first and then import it in LFS Editor.

Yep, the model is very good! It's one of the reasons I decided to put some decent amount of time and energy in this mod.
Fixed some exterior stuffs (added plastic under the fender - it looks too empty without in LFS) and lights (very early look - I need to add textures). It's gonna take some time, because I'm still not 100% confident with my skills in LFS Editor (made some mistakes, had to do things twice).

Working on the interior and I've tried another set of rims - too bad configurations doesn't support different rims or I am missing something?
Would be nice if that is added later.

I actually dont know the ETK K-Series, but I own a BMW Z3 97 Model with the 2.8L straight 6.

By the way, as I am just curious. What engine is planned to be in this car ?

2.0 liter inline-4, 2.4 liter inline-6 or 3.0 liter inline-6 (between 150hp and 300hp)

My idea is to make several configurations with different engines (like in the BeamNG mod). But haven't figure it out (maybe there will be several versions of this mod, because LFS configurations doesn't support different engines or rims, so not sure yet.)

It will be something like this, I'm trying to avoid using texture, preferring simple 3D objects.
Still not sure matt or shine / chrome elements.

It took me some more time, but I like the result.
I hope I can finish the mod until 2022.

Things to do:
- some interior and exterior texturing
- adjust the engine values
- add configurations

Then I can add the same mod with different engine and rims

Rear lights texturing (wip) (I don't know if I should post so often ), maybe this will be the last update for a while.

Been working on textures (few more left and probably will update some of them after the release of the first version).
Also I've been adding different configurations/shadows.

I'm still not happy with some of the textures.

Exploring options (the screenshots are made with edited shaders).

It's gonna take some more time - I had some driver side position problems, but I got it working now.

^^ Thanks! Adding skins for the first time (BeamNG mod ones), I never did skins or made wireframes.

I'm on the finish line.
Will add only a wireframe for the first version.
And gonna need help with the engine sound... for now is the default XRT sound.
Tried messing around with the sound editor, but no matter what I do... it just getting worse.

Added a retracted version of the soft top (like in the original mod and I like that), it was just too empty with a simple cover I did before.
I can include both, but only 4 configurations are allowed.

So what configs does it have now?

Cabrio, Cabrio Race, Soft Top and Hard Top, but not sure if they will remain the same.

@Octosquad, I was thinking about asking BeamNG developers if I can make their official cars as LFS mods, will show them this mod as example, and if they agree, I can add some more mods like Cherrier Vivace, ETK 800.

Wooooooooooow, I cant believe how nice this is done overall. The look from outside,

the interieur, the dash fantastic, drives really great and on top of that even the rear

lights / brake lights / indicators are visible very good. I am so happy to have one

of my cars now in LFS, even more as its one of the best mods so far. Congrats on that, P V L

The ETK K is greatly converted! I was actually driving it in BeamNG a few days ago and I was thinking it would be a great car in LFS as well. Could you also add the offroad version as well? Been driving this in LFS for quite some laps, and it really brings me back to the fun basics of LFS. It's light, quick-ish, and simple to drive with a great sense of feedback. Genuinely one of the best driving cars in LFS IMO. Sure some of those ugly overrated JDM cars with a huge amount of horsepower can be fun, but this just drives beautifully.

I want to sort out this variant of the mod, adding the textures and some other optimizations, so it can be easier to maintain all variants which will appear as different mods. Want to avoid doing the same changes on every variant (basic model, more powered version, offroad and police as well).

Did some veh optimizations (it was a mess ) and I've added some textures, tomorrow will continue... few buttons more and maybe will add a leather, and then I will continue with the different variants.

Only leather left (will test, maybe will add, maybe no).

I could drive this car all day.
So much fun to chuck around, and nice neutral handling.

Car is fun, but seems like the slicks are doing it disservice. Flips easily and has too much grip on them. Otherwise great fun.

Kid222, I've noticed the same and will disallow them in the next version.
While I'm waiting for a response from BeamNG devs about the name/logo ETK, I'm working on the other variants.

I'm thinking about this, that's why I removed the slick tires option from this version. Probably will try to make a GTR version.

After all maybe I will have to delete this version and add it with a different name...

The name issue slightly demotivated me, but I'm ok now.

All right I’ll look into something more like that then, 2.0 inline 4 Non turbo is the worst sounding engine in LFS sadly

Since these cars were based on E36 chassis, I don't think they had AWD options available.

Looks great. I like the version with the spare tyre on the trunk. Looks a bit odd behind the front seats. The RWD drivetrain makes the most sense for this car I think.

If you want Evolution_R you can make this car for the SUPERstock Touring 2022 championship. It will be used on GRIP Masters - SsT 24/7 server.

Well I was not thinking about the stance version. But it could work with like 6cm instead of current 8cm minimum. At the cesav race last time most fast set were lowered almost to the max available.

I'm changing the suspension to Double Wishbone (from MacPherson).

Double Wishbone suspension update - I'm trying to mix the BeamNG.drive mod suspension parts and the movable tubes in LFS:

The Z3 wasnt McPherson at least in the front?

In BeamNG they are both Double Wishbone... but it seems I cannot recreate them accurately in LFS.
If I use McPherson in front - the caster can't be adjusted, so I'm kind of lost, can't decide what to use or which is best (for now looks like both front and rear MacPherson are good enough - why change them at all?).

EDIT: For now I'm gonna leave them both MacPherson.

Yeah I know that suspension models in LFS are not perfect with some simplifications. I have done a serious race with the first version and the handling and force feedback are good. Changing might be risky. But you can try without releasing...

In the regular version I've lowered the [Cabrio Race] setup a bit (not sure if this even changed anything because the motion range stayed the same in-game, need to do some tests), also changed the tire and rims size, as I thought the bigger rims will fit the 3.0 version better.

Updated the skin templates of the 3 versions of the mod. The goal was to make the cutouts as big as possible. I know I don't have to upload them here, as they are uploaded with the mods.

I had to unpublish (delete) the mods, because I don't have the right to use the name ETK without a commercial license, so I need to change the name and I will re-upload the mods soon. Also I will rename this topic title.

Re-upload will be a bit annoying I guess but there's nothing to do and I have a question. Any name ideas in mind ?

BZ30 Electric i do like fun drive an electric but need fix tooo much understeer? why have Downforce rear wing only? set 0 = 33/67. Could delete downforce?

It has tiny wing on rear,which in theory can be adjusted. Also it provides max 38N downforce at 40m/s which (if I understood correctly) is like extra 38kg weight on wheels at that speed. Deffinitelly not much effect for 1.4 ton car,the option just allows have a little adjustment for higher speeds. If you feel it has too much understeer,set differential to rear as it is AWD car (that's why it's included in this year's AWS schedule).

38N is around 3.8kg it is not much but it might be realistic. These kind of car might have positive lift it is extremely comon. So negative or 0 is not too bad...

lfs physics is bit oversteery so u prob got used to it, loopingz said right, its around 3.8kg, the spoiler in such cars is only for detail and not for literal racing use of it

Bro I’m telling you no one really drives electric cars just look at download counts

The new electric version will be 10 times better.
Also more mods means higher maintenance time - updating something on one of the mods means updating all of the mods.

I want to ask what is the problem with the BZ30 ROADSTER GTR?
How to improve it so it can be approved? Maybe better handling?

I have updated the BZ30 Roadster with a less powerful version.

The BZ30 Roadster Sport already contains a configuration replacing the old, more powerful version of this mod.

The major update includes the following:

- Engine (252 bhp -> 148 bhp)
- Frame;
- Suspension;
- Wheels size;
- Setups;
- Sound;
