just give it up lizardfolk, dont you see that guy is just an attention whore? He is wasting our time for too long already now shall we just ignore him already or do you want to go on with this for another 10 pages?
What are you actually trying to accomplish here anyway? I think no one's got a problem if you can't stand this sort of racing but why the heck are you trying so desperately to boo us with such ridicules comments? Is it because you simple dont know better or because you just dont understand the concept or is it because you need this for some other nasty reasons? Regarding to your comments it's rather obvious that you ain't got a clue - at all. So i suggest you get yourself a little education and simple switch on your brain before you "think" that you have to create another reply.
welcome to LFS buddy, always reminds me on the time i got myself a licence (while reading such threads) and was mainly driving the RB4 around SO1 & SO4 (South City Classic & Long )
have a nice time with lfs which im sure you'll do and cya on track
all you need is to get smoother which can can accomplish if you practice, practice and practice some more. When you got your race line (resulting out of your driving style and your setup) inside your bones, its just a matter of time and you will be quicker. At this point you should start working on your setup, focus on the suspension (not too stiff, not too soft) and camber/ tire preasure and maybe even reduce the downforce (try to keep under-/ oversteer at a minimum). But remember, only one change at a time, so you can feel the difference and can compensate
I dont think the FO8 is easier to drive but its certainly much more fun then before.
when the first conversion for GTL came out the servers where always loaded and that for a very long time. Of course races are different compared to shorter tracks since the grid tends to spread even more but it is still possible to have great fights. This concept is different to any other tracks and its one of the things i really miss in lfs, also it would be the perfect benchmark presumed it would based on real data.
Most of the people playing lfs tend to run short pickup races and we all know lfs is the best game to do so. But still, there are a lot of people around that want to race at longer tracks but unfortunately they are in a minority.
Honestly, it makes no difference for me if i drive a couple of laps (lets say 2-5) on a long track with a total race length of 5- 10 minutes or if i'd drive a bunch of laps (10- 15) on a short track which would roughly take the same amount of time.
Besides, just in case youre not up for serious racing you can also drive around with some buddies and pretend you have a trip to some place using the country road . I wouldn't call it cruising but its something like that in the end. If somebody makes a misstake then everyone is waiting for him in order to stay together, push eachothers limits and have some nice battles.
Anyway, i doubt its gonna happen on the official way, maybe if lfs is finished one day and open for mods.
Great list you have there and i like your comments regarding the german electronic scene. I just want to add that these days where its getting easier to create such music, it is getting much harder to filter out the real good stuff but in general i would say the overall quality is better then never before.
I dont know many from your list but Paul Kalkbrenner for sure.
I feel the need to add some more german dj's at this point. Ellen Allien, Paul van Dyk, Sven Väth, Emanuel Eisbrenner, DJ Hell, Kanzleramt, Johannes Heil, Thomas Schumacher, Heiko Laux, Richard Bartz, Alexander Kowalski!!! just to name a few of my all time favorites. There are so many more, not only german of course (Laurent Garnier, Richie Hawtin, Carl Cox...) but unfortunately i have no access to my main pc atm. Guess the list would explode anyway I prefer every kind of music as long as it is according to my taste. Why should i limit myself with only one sort of music anyway? How boring would that be Ok i reached the point with the question about the matter of taste again so nevermind eh.
Oh and one last thing and maybe correct me on that matter since my knowledge is just limited but please do not use techno as a collective noun since it is just another sub form of electronic music. It also devides into many crazy forms but i would not dare to count everything created with a synthesizer or whatever you use these days into techno.
regards & sorry for the OT
/on topic
yes i do but as some of the people in here only the good old stuff. WTC, Cypress Hill, GangStarr, some good old funkmaster flex tapes and so on...
just saw "I Am Legend" and im really impressed actually. This is a movie one of a kind. Altough i havend watched Cloverfield yet i would put it into the same category of movies. I cant find any word to discribe it...maybe "intense" but even this would't come close to the impression i've got after watching this one
well he has a point but the way he is making it is rather questionable (sort of...) So why do you take this one personal and also attack him like that? (no answer needed, just think about it)
