Quote from Krammeh :it doesn't tie into crafting.

If you dont build an enchantment table and stick your tools/gear/weapons into it, it just isn't used.

If LFS added the option to turn the screen upside down, it wouldn't effect people with normal vision - its no different.

gah, moaners

Yey +1

I don't see the problem, there is the adventure side for rpg lovers and the creative mode for builders.

The games are time attack based, not drifting games...

Waste of time trying to get hold of it and even to play it.

If you have a ps3 then buy Initial D Extreme Stage, otherwise be lucky enough to find one of the arcade stages in your local arcade. Wish we had them over here in the UK.

Take it you haven't checked any screenshots or videos yet?

Spins can't be recovered by stamping on the brakes, i've already tried it.

Wheels for each car are now the correct ones for each team, they look great.

Have you tried it without abs, gotta say it's massively improved from last time. I've got the club sport pedals and the only sim i've found that I like the load cell in was iRacing. Lfs was abit hit and miss, but i'm surprised that in f1 2011 I can manage the braking fair well without ABS.

Yeah I would try it, but i'm really finding the pro is better for me. I mean it's more enjoyable to know your not going to be bottom, which in a Lotus should happen anyway, i've already had some really nice racing. Haven't had a moment where i've managed to catch someone up but had nice defensive battles with others.

Yeah seems more and more things are surfacing like last year, shame they didn't sort out stuff like that.

I love the DRS and Kers, Sadly the lower teams don't have Kers. But i'm on professional, I found Legend is way too hard for me.

With the time attack, do you mean the scenario stuff? McLaren @ Canada and so on. Cause i've managed gold on the first 3 of those, found the Williams @ Spa very hard in the down poor

Yeah thats a fair point JJ72, he seemed to just chuck it into 130r and no bother trying to get the corner right.

So far I've felt that TCS off is fair easy and a good bit of fun, started my career with Lotus

EDIT:
Funny hes already made a post saying he doesn't just throw it into 130R it's definitly the game lol

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u3S5OG9k9DE&feature=feedu

Go to 4:47 he talks about TCS at 130R again.

Now watching that, I think it's the fact hes in T-Cam, he doesn't bother trying to save it once he goes into 130R. Or if he does hes really slow because hes not using the cockpit view. When I was driving in the Lotus I can easy tell once I've pushed it to the limit and can feel the slide and see the slide happing and can just about make the counter to hold it. So times i've had to be very quick with the catch, I had one slide where I didn't notice it happing till the very end, was turn 5-6 at Malaysia.

Well my first thoughts are...

It's a big improvement over 2010, nice new features in the season area. No more coffee stained visuals. The feel of it is very nice, menus seem kinda the same but at the same time different.

The Handling so far is abit hit and miss with me, it's better than 2010 but at the same time I need more hours on it to really find out how it is. For now it's good, you are able to tell when the car is on the limit, you can tell when it's wheel spinning out of corners, you get that indication from tyres noise and the revs pitching slightly. Sense of speed is good though i'm going to be adding the camera mod from F1 2010, cause atm it's hard to really tell where the corner is in cockpit cam. *Never use T-cam*

Sadly there's the annoying thing of being able to slide the car way more than you should and still keep hold of it.

Kers and DRS are a brilliant improvement. I love em, haven't had a chance to use them in the race as yet, but kers is good fun.

Will give some screenshots and stuff in abit im going to go back on the game now :P

EDIT:

Virtual R are posting some good videos here

Will be getting my copy tomorrow, will give my thoughts on it once I have it

Really hyped for it though, I know it will be fail in areas but still I got around f1 2010 no problem and the Race department community really help that become a better game with mods. They will most likely do the same. But don't want a load of bugs on the first day

Yeah would agree with Bean0, the Pz IV is a bloody good tank. I have the Pz III/IV and you can easily run around the map almost scouting in a way but can easily take out some higher tiered stuff

With the hitbox skins, I'm tempted but only if I find my Tiger a pain in the ass to get xp with :P

TD's are more of a shoot and scoot game style if your against higher tiered tanks. But in a lower tiered game, just camp up, wait for a target and booom!

You have to remember to just sit tight for most of the game, just let them come to you. The Marder II is a brilliant little TD, if you end up playing the german line of TD's you will find that * I guess this applies to all TD in the game* each has a different style of play to it.

Hehe, I love the Stug now. When I first bought it I hated it and just played it to grind through to the Jz Panzer. But after playing with the higher tiered TD's I know how to play the TD class better than before, so I bought the Stug again in a way to just earn a good bit of cash. The Tiger I just bought was abit costly
