Ah, close enough.

Just remembered CPDU, because we've sold so many devices to them that the name sticked to my head.

Quote from rediske :We do have all sorts of physical therapy devices... (ergofit, proxomed, prontomed etc.)

So I'll guess you work at CPDU?

Because that's where we (Proxomed) ship many therapy devices to in Duisburg.

Quote from rediske :For 8 years I was a mobile service technician for neurology equipment doing 50000 km/year.

Since almost 3 years now I'm working in a hospital as a medical technician. If any (patient-related) equipment in the house breaks, my phone rings...

Do I see myself doing this in 10 years from now? yes!
Do I see myself doing this in 20 years from now? hell yes!

Medical technician? Do you work with kardio bikes and other training machines by any chance? If so, it could be pretty much possible you already seen one of the machines my firm I work at produces

Quote from rediske :You most certainly will! At least for me it's my full paypal name ingame...

I love to beat that little fiat 500 around the nordschleife tourist almost every evening since 1.3 full was released...

Just came back from a 3 hour, 300km blast around various tracks. And I must say so far: Aosta Semi-Oval Sport with the Vintage Replica car and a hint of rain is just about the best fun I've had simracing-wise since S1 days.

And you can race under an other name, not even the GUID is the name of my mother

And I haven't even bothered about addon tracks

Just bought it, just for fun.

But I'm well aware that it might be Single-Player Fun only, but that's okay for me

I hope I don't have to race under my mothers name, because I bought it through her Paypal Account

Quote from DeadWolfBones :Well, just shows it's not really the equipment that matters.

Yes, but no

See, the thing is, I really feel limited by my camera in so many occasions, that it is really time to buy a DSLR. I guess you've been there as well

Quote from DeadWolfBones :Damn, dude. You sure this is your first dSLR?

It isn't even a DSLR, as I still don't have the money to buy it. I've shot this with my old Sony DSC H1.

Today I've had both around at a store to play with. And I'm going to buy the Nikon, because I've found something what I didn't like about the Canon at all.

It felt very cheap and unprecise when using manual focus with the kit lens, there also was some kind of play, where nothing happens at all when focusing. And as I'm going to use manual focus a lot, I will be better of with the Nikon.

Thanks for the opinion DWB anyway

Quote from DeadWolfBones :D5100 has a better sensor, Canon can mount more third-party/legacy lenses (with adaptors). I find Nikon has better ergonomics, but that's personal preference.

If you can hold both in-hand that's the best way to decide.

As it will be my first DSLR, I can't really tell yet what I'm exactly looking for, ergonomics wise.

Legacy lenses would be nice at some point, but I'll have to stick to the kit lenses first. And even if I'll buy an old lens, I could live with manual focus, as I will mostly shoot static objects.

They both have their pros and cons, but I think I'll take the Nikon.

What's the better choice in your opinion:

Nikon D5100 or Canon D600?

Price Tag is about the same on both.

Quote from Forbin :People like you are what's wrong with this country/world, but especially this country. Instant consumerism, at the expense of the purity of sport in this particular case.

Why even have a 200 lap race? Why not just have a 2 lapper to begin with? How about a mandatory 30-car pileup too?

You want a movie script ending? Go watch a movie. Trying to artificially generate one for every race just cheapens the effect when it actually happens for real.

You sound like an frustrated, under****ed communist. Banned from society and paraniod on top of that.

So, you have any evidence for your statement other than an explanation of "Sports entertainment" on Wiki?

If not, than you are just expression an opinion, which is probably a very lonesome one.

At least it shows an McLaren F1 is a proper supercar, because even after you've clocked 37k miles on it, it still tries to kill you

Dump the idea of playing LFS and better get the second one. In this region of CPU power, every bit counts. And I know that from owning an 901 eeePC, which is for me the absolute minimun in performance that is acceptable even when surfing.

So you only changed the two front tyres to new fresh and grippy ones?

You know that you're asking for oversteer then?

Well, we are living in the 21st century and if you are not coming from an hypocrite country like the USA (which is still the number one porn producing land in the world) there is nothing wrong with it.

Heck, you even see nudity at german swimming baths and bathing lakes.

Problem USA?
