Yesterday I searched for my phone for 10 minutes, to realise that I had it in my right hand illepall

No planes in LFS, it's already hard for many racers to cope with the 2 dimensions. You already could get airborne, but you don't want to do that very often

Maybe this has something to do with the refresh rate your TFT is running at. Normally they are running at 60hz, as should your TV, too (as I think it is a pretty modern LCD TV, because of the DVI plug you mentioned)

But maybe, just maybe, your graphic card just sets itself to an other value, as soon as you plug in the TV (or at an other random occasion).
I'm saying this because most TFTs can handle for example 75hz, but sometimes they will just start to act strange, because they are designed to run at 60hz.

But that's just a guess from my side. Could be wrong about this

I think it would be better for the future to place them in the middle of the two suggested spots.

Because if we will get a pitcrew sometime, they would be standing pretty much in the pitroad already.

I've done a quick test using FOX @ FE Club with a 3 lap race. I'm not a good driver and I don't have a good setup, but anyway, here are my results:

With sound:
Best lap time 37.72 Lap 2

Without sound:
Best lap time 38.06 Lap 2


So i guess it improves my times a bit to hear what the car is doing. And I wasn't really sure if the selected gear is the right one.

I've attached the two replays, so you could have a look at where I was faster/slower with/withour sound.

It may help the USA in terms of F1 besides Indy, but you also loose a good track
