I have a 92 Ranger.

Funny... LFS under Windows Vista for me ran perfectly fine. Normal FPS, same I get in XP. My FPS is always somewhere in between 35-60 or 70. Just depends on how many cars are around.

I eventually noticed performance got unplayable, then I realized the little csrss.exe trojan or whatever slipped past my antivirus. I decided that my friend was right, Vista has security issues, so now im back to XP.

Funny you had problems, this is my computer:
Athlon XP 2400+ 2.0GHZ, 1GB RAM, 80GB 7200RPM, GeForce 6600LE 256MB. The 80gig is what I have XP on, I was using Vista on a 40GB 5400RPM drive just for testing purposes.

Im nowhere near as good as some of the stunters in LFS. But I was playing around with some ramps on the straight in Blackwood and thought it would be cool to put together some clips. Most of them were recorded at 0.500 speed.

Yeah, I would have to say the Starion. From the pictures above, it looks 99% like it. The only thing is that the tail lights are slanted on the real car.

You're lucky you don't live where I live. In Georgia(USA), if you arent 16 before 2007, you have to keep your learners for 2 years(have to be 17 to get a license). Thankfully, I got my license before 2007 came.

Wow, those graphics look really good. I watched some of the videos and the game actually looks good.

Number 1- I will probably never buy a PS3.
Number 2- Not an F1 Fan, of course, LFS is an exception.

Thats a great idea. I haven't tried it yet, id rather wait until its a little out of the way. But its good for drifters and racers. New drifters can make sure they dont get too much angle and spin, racers will know when they start sliding so they can correct.

It would be really cool if you could just place that needle where the Temperature gauge is, since it pretty much serves no function anyway. That way, its out of the way, but in a convienent spot.

Is that possible?

My truck has a gear whine. It doesn't build up like a race car, just through the gear. Dunno if it has straight cut gears though. Its a 92 Ranger.

I've seen pictures of people that have wheels that dont come with shifters or anything. Then they have a separate clutch pedal, and a separate 6 sped shifter. Where can I get one of these for my DFP?
