Quote from DeadWolfBones :I rarely agree with anything a Kingsbury posts, but I've always subscribed to the view that if you've got any overlap on the car ahead, it's up to that guy not to run over you. But that's probably because I'm an American and I grew up watching NASCAR/ovals in general, where that's the standard operating procedure. (Also, you know, logic. It's racing—you go for any gap you can get to.)

They've got mirrors I mean really. I've held this belief ever since Kimi got clipped by Magnussen because Kimi was driving like a dumbass and Magnussen held his inside line. Europeans are such idiots. They complain that f1 is congoline racing then bitch when someone tries to go side by side into a corner.

Seriously what the **** is wrong with all of you? This is Rosberg's fault? I mean are they not supposed to race side by side? He had sufficient overlap up to the sidepod of the other car, and Hamilton just went through the chicane as if he wasn't there.

Why not go all the way and make a full pedal set with modded springs and dampers? Or even make it a usb device?

It's pathetic that someone can't just let the admins do their job with the protests and instead tries to make it seem as if someone who wasn't in the race is at fault for his short comings.

Quote from Masterboy19660815 :well, I guess ray never drove a decent race. As I had the "talk" with ray on skype it's now, completly clear, fully retarded person in this league.

Dustin might be not the fastest, but I guess sometimes faster and almost all the time way safer than him.

I don't know why deko let ray race, after his 2-day-lfs-driver-show last season. ( I guess it also was on Blackwood ) I think the most in this field are going to think the same.

Go get sponsored by John Deere tractors because the only passes you made without ramming someone involved mowing the lawn.

The 33 was get this, ON THE LEAD LAP, he disco'd on the pace lap and was shown a lap down for the entire race. Please feel free to congratulate both yourself and the 69 car for your as per usual stunning awareness in that situation. Also Rony was WAY less annoying when a lap down than the 14.

You aren't on the lead lap after you make a greenflag pitstop, Oscar. I already considered that he had a pitlane start. So maybe you should raise your own situational awareness to a better level.

It's a pitty that when I can race guys like Nate from LLM 2 wide for an entire sector and love it that yourself and (should he ever go fast enough) Ray have to give the group the stereotype that everyone knows it by.

Wow, I wasn't even in that race and still managed to do something wrong.

That being said, I think Rony needs to learn how to heed blue flags too . It wasn't just Remco, many others had no regard for blue flags either. Car 69 was wrecked by car 33 after passing him while car 33 was blue flagged.

So if we just want to pick on LLM guys, that is fine. But even others do the same thing.

Quote from Cornys :
In other qualifying news, the truck series qualifying session #3 was a joke. Only one driver actually set a lap in the final qualifying session and defaulted to receive the pole position. The group deal on ovals just doesn't make any sense.

Can you explain more?

Quote from Kristi :I contacted LFSTech today and got an answer with no solution, suggesting to open a topic but I found this and thought mine would be related. I actually have FFB on my wheel playing LFS, but the game just kills the motors. The fans are blowing hot air and smoky smell after 5 minutes of gameplay, whereas in other sims I can easily go for a 5 hour session without trouble, and even then the airflow feels cool. Note that even at 25% force, which is relatively low it still has a problem. Somebody met a similar problem? Any solutions?

I've noticed on my GT3rs that LFS' force feedback is almost always applying pressure while iRacing's is very soft until you hit a bump or a curb.. you can really feel it. Meanwhile in LFS I've become accustomed to only slight changes. Maybe just try turning the Force Feedback strength down? Turn centering spring/belt off?

Quote from Racer Y :
Oh and does putting helium in the tires really help in racing?

Not unless you want a flat tire within 30 miles. Helium will deflate very quickly. And even if it didn't, the weight loss you pickup is negligible at any level other than absolute top flight.

I used to race in NASCAR Heat with a guy who raced there. He said some of it was worked up by that TV show but a lot of it wasn't.
