I can't get the torque low and high enough, but otherwise the specs match. It revs straight to the limiter without lighting up the shift light.
This setup was made by Flotch for the 0.5U Mecanik version of the car, for the Blackwood competition. It works great on this version too. It's a lot of fun, it's proof enough we need an MR NA-V8 car for the LRF and/or GTR class
I can't get the sound any better than this.
Breizh is a big dummy.
Alt-tabbing is enough.
CVWs have nothing to do with it, apparently. The bug still happens and it's a real hinderance to safe racing on the edge.
I guess you have to register the files manually.
I think someone mentionned what you have to type in the Run... box, in the windows start menu, but I'm no specialist on that. It's in this or another Tweak thread, but I don't know that it works in Vista.
I just got it again, mid-race, hands on the wheel, not even changing any parameters like brake bias or anything.
Deleting the car's cvw fixed it.
I also got it when the server I was on changed tracks, which matches Jonas' report.
Deleting the cvw worked then, too.
Hughie, that was one of my first hunches, but alas I can easily alt-tab to do the cvw-delete routine with no slow downs.. With enough practice I've become fast enough at it to alt-tab out and back in to delete the cvw all in the 'race restart' countdown's length of time.
If there is any slowdown from CPU crowding, it's definitely not as large a lag as the delay this 'bug' makes.
Yes analog smooth is off.
It hasn't happened in windowed mode yet, but I haven't spent much time in it.
CSU, I would agree except (correct me if I'm wrong) deleting the cvw has nothing to do with drivers.. and this has never happened before patch V.
Yes, I have the camera's yaw axis set to an analog joystick, and steering on another.
I'll try and see if the gas/brake pedals are influenced too.
I don't know what settings you mean, but here's what I found:
Redrum, how do you find it with a hex ed?
Do you have to edit stuff till you see the weight change in LFS, or is there something in the right hand column of the editor to recognize?
I've never used hex editors before.
