If I remember right, didn't the Opera web-browser operate on voice commands? If it could be done to surf, I'm sure integrating using InSim would be a snap with an external program.

There's really no point to it. The name will still be there even if it has tags in front of it. And if it's just for extra name space, can't you just lay off the psychedelic colors?
I don't see how something could be drift-only, or "only" for anything unless it was a autocross for karts...
Taking down those servers would be a stupid thing. Both "drifters" and "racers" are part of the community, the majority. If every server were simliar to CTRA, I'd never go on. I'd be scared to pop up and drive aggressively, hit someone, and get yelled at for driving at my limit... so drifting is a nice way of doing things.

Nice job!Honestly, everyone needs to stop with the topics, and the arguments. Drifting is using a car a way you enjoy, racing is using a car the way you enjoy. Different people will like different things - but don't go Seung-Hui Cho just because you don't like it. Sure, it may seem off. Sure, it may not be seen as a motorsport, but people think an atom smasher will destroy everything in the world by creating a black hole too. It's unknown, but we still do it. Whether it's a true motorsport or not will be left up to those who are willing to give up some moolah and set a standard for "good" drifting or "bad" drifting. Hell, that's what motorsport is anyway, right? Just money for winning on a standard. So until there's a set standard, bugger off the subject of drifting.
Drifting culture today is a different story. I'd absolutely adore it if every drift chick was some Asian model in a short mini-skirt. I'd probably sell my house and buy a Toyota Soarer, or some nice old car to thrash around. But the kids, and men, that go around saying drifting is so fast, and spout Initial D bull... ignore them. Heck, I don't even listen to a racer if he can't dot his I's and cross his T's. So maybe start judging by the character of a person and his attitude rather than judging by the sport he competes in.

Rubbish, rubbish, and more rubbish. If you really want to go on about disabilities, I'll tell ya. I was born with a condition called PFFD, Proximal Femoral Focal Deficiency. I'm missing my knee + down on my right leg - and that hasn't stopped me from drifting. Even with a G25. Nine-hundred degrees, but I use sequential when I don't have my prosthetic on. So don't say all disabled guys need an oval, they're just too bum-lazy to get off it and do anything.

Fast and the Furious was a money maker because of it's series, it gave it a bad image. A "touge" is a mountain pass, it's meaning has been changed by those guys who do like Fast and the Furious, to pretty much mean drifting. It's sad honestly, but set aside the FnF junk. It could be fun to drift, race, and have rally racing on. Implus, that would be scary stuff at night. Only if the rest of the tracks had the option to change the time, and the LFS headlights worked.

I quite like the idea, perhaps taking ideas from Gunsai? That is an amazing piece of road, it's narrow and has hills. So that means you're going to go up and down. Now, for the downhill boys that'll be blazing around in the XRG we could have another "track section," kind of like how South City has Town Course, and then there's the City, Sprint, whatever. It's a good idea, and would force others to use ideas not familiar with the usual wide race tracks. This has my vote.

I would also like to point out that I'm not suggesting this just for drifting, I think blazing this in UFR and XFR would be quite fun! Even though it could double for drifting, just like any other track.

Wheel4Hummer, I'm well aware of what Chernobyl was - but that sort of accident should never happen again, at all. It was a disaster, there needs to be no history brushup to know that. Imagine if all scientists wanted to test something, in a large nuclear facility, that's highly dangerous? I wouldn't settle for that. I'm just wondering where you get the idea that I need a history brushup?
Because it's more likely to be tried out once we see the quality of the layout. :/
