sometimes it happens to me (when im talking to someone important on msn and racing). It's rare, but there are times that it takes almost 20 seconds to switch between windows and lfs... same resolution and refresh rate.

Maybe add an option that's enabled by default that disables the loading of images in signatures for people on slow connection/pc? (show the link only, so he can view it in a separate window/tab)

Almost same setup here, but i got only 1gb RAM ddr1 and 40gb HDD, using Windows xp sp3.

From what i read, you're using a mouse. So Force Feedback strengh is useless...

But unless i read it wrong, then i don't think setting it on the cfg file will make it work. I belive from a programmer's pov that if the system detects the option above it's maximum range it will rewrite it to become 200... My 2c (got no lfs installed atm)

Nah, i'd rather drive a lamborghini above 200km/h on a highway, like the old days. They should make Hot Pursuit 3.

I think he means that, it was the Underground and after NFS games that gave NFS the bad name on the simulation comunity. Hell, one of the best racing games i have ever played and introduced me to the racing games comunity is Need For Speed III Hot Pursuit(PSX). And then it became better with Need For Speed Hot Pursuit 2(PS2/PC). For me those were the best ones. I don't care if there that arcade, but the high speed and the police chases were awesome...

It's a three man job, and it's a very well done job if you look at what has been accomplished until now. We all wish something was different, but its very good as it is, and if you have some patience (yeah, maybe more than normally) you will see big things in the future.

I've never done it, but i think you must get Fraps or another recording program, and run it while watching the replay. it probably generates a movie file, so you upload it on youtube.

Maybe there is an option you forgot to tune, like, maybe, putting the sky color to 16bits?

I think, since Eric follows his own line of design, let him do the cars, let scawen do the code, thats it, we don't need anything else. I would hate LFS to become a rFactor (few good mods, lot's of ugly ones).
