It drinks fuel as hell and it isn't good for the environment, but Mazda RX7 FD3s' are my all time favorite cars:

You'll probably find that answer a couple of topics beneath yours

If you have the money get the G27. But please use the search first, this has already been discussed a hundred times.

hmm, almost sound like if the profiler contains the information for the G27's deadzone and sends that information to the other wheels too by accident..

the G27's shifter feels way better then the G25's, but it's still not close to real.

I also think that you have to take a look at what types op racing you are using it for. I see most people are grippers and then i do understand that you choose the G25. But as a drifter, i don't need a ****ing sequential shifter. I've had one on my DFP, but since i have an H-shifter i don't want anything else. And i hate noises comming from the wheel, because real car steering wheels don't make noise either and sometimes i'm still playing when my parents are already sleeping, so i want a silent and good wheel.

You can continue this discussion till Logitech brings out a G29(if they do), but it's all about personal taste and this subject has been discussed many times.

Double post

I think it's fixed now, i cut out the ffb motors and set LFS to 2 FFB controllers. and for some reason the handbrake works now too.

you can indeed choose to use 2 ffb controllers, but then the controller is still vibrating.
G27 + FFB controller

Yes, i've been searching around a bit, but none of it answered my question.

I've bought an FFB controller recently(didn't know it was FFB till i started using it)for my handbrake. Finally finished the handbrake, plugged it in and started LFS. LFS recognized the controller, the axis worked and i set the axis to handbrake. Now the problem: I started LFS and started driving, but my 27 had no FFB. Though, i heard a strange noise comming from the handbrake, what was the spring that was shaking. thats the moment i discovered that the controller had FFB. So, does anyone has an idea to get the ffb to the wheel instead of it going to the controller? Also, to go full speed, i have to press the gaspedal AND the handbrake, though i set the handbrake axis to handbrake. anyone got a fix for that too?

Kind regards,

G27. Most people saying G25 have never owned a 27. it's a bit mmore expensive, but it's worth it imo.

Thats why noone is using them yet, they are not working..

i wouldn't call the shifter realistic, since you can still move it with 1 finger, but it feels way better then the G25 one.

I can only tell that Logitech's waranty support is very good! Quick response, and even if you don't have warranty they always have a good deal ready for you.

Quote from Bose321 :900 is nonsense, the drift cars have 720 degrees, so for realism you should use 720 degrees.

I hope you ment the LFS Driftable cars. Some of the real cars use 1080(our own street legal car does that too) and some of them use 900. So for realism, go for 900.

900 hard? the wheel turns by itself :P IMO it's only better to use 900, because it will drift more precisely.

I use this for my G27:

Ingame:
-900 degrees
-wheel compensation: 0.00
-Force: 70

Profiler:
102
0
0
0
900

I use this especially for drifting

Probably because Z didn't have G27 support. I've never played the G27 on Z, because i always keep up to date. as long as you do that there is no problem.

True, i wouldn't have bought it for that price too, but if you know what to do it's cheaper

Quote from harjun :i mean...you say smooth but is that an advantage or disadvantage because the amount smoother or not compared to the g25 i don't realy realise when i've got most of my concentration on the corner and track.

i think you wouldn't notice it really soon in normal racing. When you are drifting you feel the smoothness very good, because of the wheel spinning through your hand the whole time. More precise is in my case better because i have a better feel of the car going sideways.

Quote from harjun :the thing is, it actually doesn't. They say the wheel is a little bit more smoother but to be quite honest, it isn't ive tried it. Of course it is quiet and makes nearly no sound but i mean...the G25 is pretty dam quiet anyway.

I've been testing it too, and in my opinion the G27 is smoother.Atleast, it felt like thet to me.

Quote from harjun :g27 is double the money, although it has no sequential shifter.
The only major (if major) difference is that the G27 has a shifter light which isn't particularly necessary.

And it has better and more precise FFB.

Thats just their wheel, mine doesn't make noise.. they have a Test model, don't they?
