Actually JPeace you where the one who brought up deko did mistakes. Imo that's pretty arrogant. Penalties have been handed out during the race and afterwards too. I haven't seen any mistakes.
Many people say that NDR runs the most well organized leagues there is and personally I agree. To be able to run in such league makes me and my team very happy ... ... (hard to blame deko for the poor result in Kyoto250 2010, we the drivers have to take the blame for that)
For rookies this GTAL is perfect to learn to follow rules otherwise there will be consequences. The drivers who goes on to MoE and/or IGTC comes well prepared!! ...

Blue flag means nothing in oval racing. As you said, you fight to stay on the lead lap. If you lost it and the leader have past you there's no point to fight any more so you can keep out of the way to let the leaders have their fight. That's a gentlemen agreement but no rule. You are not forced to move aside for cars at leading lap.
In Nascar it's only on the super speedways (where you use restrictor plates) you aren't allowed to pass anyone under the apron. At the other tracks it's allowed.
I don't recall apron is brought up in the rules for Kyoto250. It's only interesting in T1 and the strait between T1 and T2. In both turns you loose a lot of time if you use them and might loose the car as well. At the strait you can use it to pass without more danger then you get a bad approach to T2. I recommend you don't use the apron in Kyoto ...
I was ahead of 229, 08, 102 and 24 when the SC came out. Schultzy and Ori was ahead of me so I actually did wrong (I passed them earlier under green about 10 laps earlier, but I was a lap down) to pass them before the yellow (sorry guys).
When the green flew 229 and 08 was in front of me but a lap down. I guess that was what confused me.
Back in the old days of NR2k3 and single file restart we send the cars who where laps down to go through the pitlane before the start so they ended up behind the cars on the lead lap. The front runners had the clean battlefield they wanted for the last fight ...
@Deko ... I was waved around for the free pass. Before the yellow I was ahead of Ori, Mayers and Schultz (maybe more) but ended up behind them after my wave around. I passed them before the green flew. Was that right acting from me?
Sorry to #25. I dived inside but couldn't hold the car and drifted upwards. I couldn't feel I hit you but it seems as I did. My apoligies to you.
Acording to others your language wasn't very polite and I guessed you where a bit upset, prolly that's why you turned me around after the race, nascar style ...
I know your feelings since I've been squezed a couple of times the same way and that's what broke my car last Kyoto250.
Sorry to say the same happened in the session 10. Looking at the replay your brake light didn't light up until after you hit me. We both tryed to escape on the inside with the difference I braked hard early since I saw what was going on. Maybe lag?
No big deal, but #31 did a better time in Q2, 1.36,24, then in Q1.
In Q2 we did a mistake and ended up on the roof. Is that why our best time didn't count?
I'm sad to read this Tommy. I have never seen you as a brat, but your actions lately for sure looks as something happened to you.
If I was able to give you some advice I should say to you to calm down. I have no clue weather your penalties where fair or not, but I do have confidence in NDR's way of adming their leagues.
Please just get over it (bryt ihop och kom igen), take your penalties come back and show all others the real Tommy.
The reading now is pathetic. Asking for support against the admins??!!! ffs .... come on!!

After we got turned around at the 11th lap and my disconection we ended up at 16th in our first GTAL race. This track was as built for the FXR car so it was a good start for us, I doubt next track will be the same though.
This was fun!!
Congrats to 7karat who took the win, outstanding!!
Also congrats to Tripple7 and MoS ...
