I bet SOME of the guys that would participate on this, could eventually end up in pininfarina italia, prosche design team...
I BET the cars could look way cooler... and be truly unique...

You could get a very gorgeous looking v10 sports car, that was not a ferrari nor a lambo, but it was designed by someone that is reallly good at it and we could have a super sport car, tha looked like one and raced like one..

well.. im just making a mess... but, did you understand WHY i wanted some specialists doing the designs?

Or even better , maybe, when you do your car setup you could alredy make the pitstop setup, so you knwo, when you are racing aston club with your FOX, as you do every day, when you select you AS2UUU setup, you are going to have you set up, and you pit strategy on it.

I bet that wouldnt be hard to do..

So, here is my 5 cents.

1) How hard is to get real cars in the LFS game?

I guess it would be really interesting having real cars, Ariel Atom [it would be amazing if they could get this one], LAmbos, Ferrarirs..
The thing is.. WHY dont we have v8's, v10's and v'12?it doesnt really have to be in "real" cars, and that brings too...

....another thing they could do, is maybe send e-mails to colleges with car designs or design Majors and ask them to develop cool cars for the game, we would all get somethings out of this.
The developers would have a cooler game, with more options and specially more headakes.
We would have more cars = more fun.
And the designers would have theyr projects in a game, great for a Resumee.

So, did i bring anything new?

Well, my notebook is always plugged in, as a mather of fact, my battery is dead... so... it wouldnt run on it anyway...

Like i said before, playing on Single player i could run against 11 AI's and it was all fine even at a pile up.

I dunno if it is because my notebook is a HP but the bios seems pretty basic. I cant find an option to disable the HT, could you help with that?

just got home.. and guess what?

during regular race, 65fps... pretty neat..
When we got really close 55 fps..

Massive pile up, 37 fps...

Never whent under 37....

Well, it has always done a great job... i even player Half Life 2 with no problems at all...

I'll work on that, but from what i remember i could play with the full grid of ai's with no problems..i can be wrong...

So,

I read a couple of topics about this in this forum but i cant seem to find the answer.
When im hotlaping offline my fps is around 80 or so, and thats is pretty good if you aks me, but somethimes when im racing online, my fps falls from 70 to 6fps, 10..12.. and that usually ends up in a pille up and ppl cussing me all over. The thing is, sometimes that happen when im alone in a straigh as it will happen in a tight curve with 10 cars at the same time.

My pc is a 3.2 HT PIV, 1gb ram, 128 mb Radeon 9600 mobile [i have a HP notebook] and when im playin lfs i shut off everything else, msn, anti-virus...

Any clue abou that? did the developers ever mentioned something about this?
