Y well you found out how life works.
There are just some privileged kids or people at all getting more or less all they want and everyone can decide if thats good or bad for them...
The intention of this price change was to globally give almost everyone a fair chance to buy it but not in every situation or at every point.
I hope you are kidding. Norway is known to be very expensive to live in. that means earnings are higher to compensate compared to other european countries.
You can think of switching it to a £30 band
A stupid thread like all the other ones. Just with more "blabla". This shit should all just be closed of moderators without any comment.
There is not even any valid argument in blaming the devs that a cracked community is more active.
Every game has a significant cracked player amount. Why do you think recent games have such a good anti tamper software that isn't cracked to this point?
For independent developers its surely even harder because they have much less players. 50% buyers of 5mio is more them 50% of 100 000... (just an example).
This argument "its much to pay 50€ for a game with just a fer updates..." its just the most funny bullshit one can read.
You buy a game with the content it has at this point. That's it.
You can name maybe a handful games that got updates for such a long time and even less that got that many new features on top.
If the community is toxic or not is by far no reason of all that - As if there drive many players that payed for the game...
But y Im toxic after reading threads like those here.
I don't believe this is a general priority but a graphic-power problem. I'm no expert but it is known LFS consumes much more resources in object intensive situations (like it is the case in every game surely).
That FPS are jumping up in full screen might be because you left the part of the course which has that many objects and/or windows indeed gives the application more resources there. But if this belongs to all instances you could be on the start again.
Some things I would try:
- Did you monitor the level of CPU and especially graphic card use?
- Trying to map graphic card resource (reservations) in graphic card driver/tool level to the game instances instead of on operation system level.
Gran Turismo on PS does a complete wheel right turn, left turn and then center it on every initialization of the game to get especially the degree information.
Just an idea to maybe go.
Surely I can change those assignments.
This thread is just meant to correct the detection issues of wheels/controllers that werent reported to Scawen in the testpatch period.
Removing horizontal scrolling on the outer html tag breaks the ability to scroll content not just on many phones (not being android/iOS). The same behaviour occurs on desktop browsers in low resolution and in window mode. The problem makes sense if you think about and for android/iOS it should be called a work around that it works as intended in this use case.
Could you have another look now ?
I am pretty sure I did not miss something in my last response which would be an easy fix as well.
It is just too annoying...
You are right I didn't notice. On most cars just the shadow misses some pixels.
But I now got another idea which fixes this.
The bad behaviour seems to just occur because you set the overflow-x on the body. If I set it on #SiteWrap I get a scrollbar on desktop small width. Guess it will be the same on mobile browsers.
Do not incorrectly take non appearing blaming/bug reports as non affecting users. It literally makes this forum unusable for a lot of mobile phone users. It annoyed me a lot and yet I was too lazy to post this for such a long time (sick combination I know).
I second the idea to remove the optional car content on phones and maybe tablets, it is also just creating additional mobile traffic.
Just had a look at the problem.
It is caused by the style
body { overflow-x: hidden; }
I don't know if you added this out of a special reason but please remove it.
Because this forum doesn't have a responsive layout this is a major problem some browsers just work around.
I have a huge problem to use this forum on several mobile phones.
You can see the effect I describe by creating a smaller desktop window. There (at least in firefox) the width isn't scrollable like in other pages you test the same.
In the common mobile resultions that means you can just see like 3/4 of the page width.
The problem eixts in Windows Phone 10 Edge Browser and many less common Linux (Webkit Engine Browser) based Phones.
I had an android phone as well which handled these pages correctly (or worked around a problem on this site).
I'll give you more information if you need to.
It would be really nice if this problem could be solved.
