ive driven enough `real` cars in my life to know that they shouldnt spin when going round a corner at 40mph, i know the game is setup based but its still no excuse for spinning out every time the road goes a different direction.

....that think the cars handle badly? ive been playing this for a while now and think that the cars spin far too easily, its a great game but for me its spoilt by cars that dont behave like cars and b4 everyone jumps down my throat, in the `80`s i was a rally and autocross driver.

which are the best servers to go for as a beginner? id like to try my hand at a bit of racing but it seems that every time i try to have a go i get `shown the door` so to speak

see title above, its very daunting the list of servers that are available so i thought it would be nice if the noob friendly ones were available for easy access and not hidden inside several different leagues, co,mon give us noobs a chance of a race every now and then.

must admit im really enjoying using the r220 ok it doesnt have ff or the kudos of the more expensive wheels but i enjoy it and at the end of the day thats what its all about

ive got 2 pc`s that have lfs installed on, my new one was installed when i bought the s2 licence just before christmas and my old one has been unlocked as its been installed for a while now (no fbm!), i find the ai cars on the latest download almost suicidal yet on the earlier download they arent half as bad, i thought the ai cars were supposed to be improved over the older versions.

well i got a wheel off ebay (told u im a cheapskate) a saitek r220 for the grand total of £15 inc free postage! (it was £12.50 to post so the guy only got £2.50 for the wheel) now i know that its not the best wheel by any stretch of the imagination but its transformed lfs for me, its gone from being good with a joypad to being totally and utterly addictive with a wheel, now all i need is practice.

id be interested, ive only had s2 since christmas eve.

i was looking at those wheels on ebay, im using a ps2 controller with a usb adaptor at the moment so it might work using that, i would expect an adaptor to only cost a couple of quid, id be interested to know if it did work as they seem to be going reasonably cheap.

thanks for the replies, "evilpimp" i do have the money but not the inclination to spend a lot of money on a wheel as there are much more important things to spend my hard earned cash on such as a family. thanks.

what wheel do people recommend that doesnt cost a fortune like the g25, im working within a married budget so its pretty tight.

ive been playing the demo for a while with a ps2 controller and while it isnt great it has got me to buy the licence for lfs. the question is, whats the best `value` steering wheel that i can get that works well on a very (wife type) limited budget? im sure the question has been asked to death but as a noob im sorry im asking it again. cheers to you all and happy christmas. jeff

Hi, im a noob from the uk, been playing the demo for a while now but just built myself a pc that can give me a decent frame rate so i bought myself a licence for crimbo and im ready to go. Any recommendations on wheels as im currently using a ps2 gamepad which isnt ideal. thanks
