Right then, i'm gonna have to rethink my entry then :P (No International A license, and 8 weeks whilst doing coursework and planning for exams to set a 103% hotlap, in a BF1 (I can do it in an FOX and an FBM and an FO8, but BF1 will be tricky)

But yeah, cya next year then, if thats what i need (unless you want help commentating, or making names for the corners? :P )

Also, Thatguy, who will you be racing for next season? I know Crazy isn't driving for TC-R Next season, but i need to know if you are so i can start to put the team together :/ (I don't know wether i will be, i'll probably go as reserve again)

I meant like, you couldn't make it to a race, which, seeing as they're moving to sunday evenings, won't be AS likely, but you still might miss one and need a replacement

We could be [TC-R.USA] and [TC-R.UK] :P (Names wouldn't fit though

Ooh, ooh, another idea!

A Nations Cup, where you take the average score of each nation and it can be another prize, although we need to find a bad Polish driver so Wiz doesn't own us all :/

Sunday evenings are generally Ok with me, as i can stay on til about 9:30PM GMT, but it may get tight when we switch to BST, however we could just move the races an hour back to accomodate this?

Also, the high amount of AS races looks fun, as AS5 is my home track ([TC] CityDriving Montana is based their, so i can do it quickly with a layout, and quicker without)
AS4 is a bugger though, that corkscrew is deadly if you get it wrong or go into it fractionally too fast.

Also, another TC Teammate is considering entering with me in [TC-R2] as a permanent team, with the option for one of us to stand in for Crazy or Thatguy if they're missing (i'll point him the in the direction of this thread )

If we tried to do F1 Q1 Q2 Q3, it wouldn't work, because we don't have 20 drivers. It may work if we used driver contracts and got a big grid, but other wise, leave quali

If the races are at 9am UK time on a sunday, count me out, i have something called a lie in :P

and what's UTC in relation to GMT? I'm only allowed on my PC until about 10pm GMT :S

Seeing as i'm primarily a cruiser, and have no idea what on earth you are all talking about with NDR 500 and Oval month and LFSKarting and whatnot, i'd just though i'd add my 2 cents to THIS.

I like the idea of longer quali, and driver contracts. I think that would give people more time to get in an unpressured lap, and also get some dedication from people (contracts).
I'm not much for the idea of races on sunday's, as thats generally when i like to be relaxing and just preparing for mondays, plus i also have football games on sunday afternoons, which would take priority over LFS.

I'll post some suggestions as to tracks.

With the Safety Car, i think it should be faster, as i saw the chaos at SO in the last round, and it wasn't good :/

Also, for race starts, i like the idea of making everyone be on their grid slot before the race starts, as i think that it would add realism.

Because P3TE only completed the first split, before getting schmuzzled (poor guy) this occured.

1 [VIP] P.Hopkins peterules 0:30.09 0:00.00 -0:30.09

For Best Possible Lap, as he only completed one sector XD

I need to drive fast, or let myself get lapped a few times because i have a drumming lesson at 3:20pm, so if the race starts at say, 2:10 (GMT) then everythings ok into turn 1, i should be alright

Also, if its based on a distance of 200km, then BF1's should average about 190-210kph depending on the set around there.

Btw, Qualifying last will give you about.... 2 FPS round there into turn 1, so everyone, just be careful, or we're gonna be starting behind the safety car due to WE1 style AI Schmuzzles at T1

Come back soon wooz

I'm still yet to see Crazy or Thatguy, so i'll PM them both to confirm wether i'd be allowed to race as [TC-R2]

Also, pearcy, did you used to be in TC? (Traffic Cops) I'm pretty sure i recognise that username

I'll talk to Crazy and Thatguy about being a [TC-R2] team for me only or something :P

btw, if you want a full grid, abolish the 4 second rule?

Its a very slim chance that the team title will be won so it's not as crucial about lapped cars is it? Even on a tight track?

But if someone gives me a set, i'll frantically practice on Thursday and Friday night (coursework in for tomorrow and thursday :S ) and then come along having done some practice for the first time ever at an SO Race :P I usually just go to CTRA Race 1 for a bit to drive XFG's into the wall (not intentionally, its just such a tight track)

But this could be interesting [TC] CityDriving Sydney is SO City Long, but not reversed, so i know the track ok, but as i said, i'll get in touch with Crazy and Thatguy. 3 TC-R cars on the grid would be fun, and anything can happen at South City.

I staged an MRT race there a few days ago, and it was only 8 people, but there was still a pile up of 5 on the main straight under the safety car :S But Turn 1 on SO4R with 20 BF1's..... I dread to think :S

Indeed, also, watch out turn 4, thats single file, otherwise you catch the grass and hit the wall. Shicane is also single file, main overtaking points are the straights, if you can get a good run out of the fast shicane and hairpin and the hairpin and slow shicane under braking.

Turns 3 and 4 are very difficult to overtake, as whatever you do, you will almost certainly be offline for the next corner. Running wide is also common on these corners, so going round the outside is competely out and trying to throw one up the inside is suicidal, you'll both end up in the wall because all the overtakee has to do is hold his line and theres no way through.

Patience is the key, let off when following through fast corners, don't get too close and make your move when its safe.

Now i'm nervous, but there ain't gonna be many people there, so it looks like a "You finish, you get a point" Scenario, as its gonna be chaos through the first lap (turn 4 and the shicane are brutal if you catch a draft through there, you just speed up waaay to much, and just fly off) and the turn's 1 and 2 are both very fast and very tight.

Those on the front row are very very lucky, its the only safe place
