I'm of the opinion that Danica is keeping more deserving drivers out of an Indycar and Nationwide drive just because she's hot, but she did have a solid race yesterday and deserves the 4th place finish.

If she was male, she would have never made it in racing. Her career has been almost pathetic, only 1 victory in her entire career, how many people would get into serious professional motor racing if they had never won a single race in their career?

I watched the full Nationwide race up until about 20 to go when all the streams got taken down for Copyright, obviously very well timed. Damn, glad that Martin won it, he was running about 6th or 7th when my stream cut out.

Quote from 91mason91 :To be fair Mccoist sparked the bitch fight at the end with a somewhat snide comment. But yes, very dirty. I can see punishments being made either now or if it happens again. Both teams were out to kill each other

I've seen much worse Old Firm games, the actual football last night was incredibly tame compared to some games. Anyway, Lennon is supposed to be a professional football manager, snide comments between teams are absolutely nothing new, Lennon just goes into a ****ing tantrum making himself look like the dick he is.

Talking about snide comments, Mjallby is a ****ing shitebag, saying some bullshit to wind up Diouf and Bartley and then running away like a ****ing schoolgirl.

I have to agree the ref did a decent job, Whittakers first yellow card was not at all and the second one was marginal, but those are really the only 2 bad decisions he made all night under incredible pressure.

Neil Lennon is total complete scum, he showed himself up last night for what he really is.

Just had a really surreal experience, was in a COT race with Dale Jr at Pocono. It felt really weird casually chatting to him about random stuff, his PC setup, his race last week, even Charlie Sheen! He's blistering fast aswell, he was pegging me at about 3 or 4 tenths a lap, until on a final lap restart he got turned into the wall, letting me get past, I beat Jr! I don't think he noticed that my skin is his current cup car with different sponsors and a big flag on the bonnet .

He's definitely staying in my line-up now

Quote from BlueFlame :I wasn't suggesting to throw haggis at a national legend.

You're missing the point, completely. To have Haggis, you first have to go to and capture one.

He's Bi-Winning!

Seriously, he seems like he is Bi-Polar, without the actual depressed half.

Quote from JasonJ :I wasn't aware how much or how little iRacing do about cheating. Too new here to comment, sorry guys. There's swearing all the time on TV here now in Aus, it's excessive. It's like they put it in dialoge to sound cool, not to sound realistic. I wish I didn't swear so much, makes me sound like a ****.

The latest trick is doing burnouts in the grass to get fast lap times at the plate tracks, this was brought up again because of the 500. This is against the sporting code in several places, but iRacing did nothing. All they had to do is put out a similar announcement, saying "do this again and you're not allowed into the 500, or you get a holiday for a week" and nobody would do it. Instead, you had to do it to be competitive.

Another example was the running setups which failed tech inspection bug. This was a mistake by iRacing, letting you run crazy setups at ovals and go a lot faster, but to their credit they did fix this quite quickly. However, they then left all the qualifying times, instead of clearing them, meaning if you didn't do a lap before they fixed it, you started from the back of the grid. This was especially important at Daytona in the trucks, where qualifying is everything.

These are very race occurrences, it just happens there were 2 high profile ones in quick succession. It would have been so easy for iRacing to make them a non-issue, but they always end up looking worse than the people exploiting do.

Of course it is Jason, bending and breaking rules is a massive part of racing, it's been a part of the sport since racing began. However, if you get caught, you get punished, which is only fair, but even if it's blatant and you boast about it on the forums, iRacing do nothing.

This seems to be an attempt to appease their customers by appearing to be doing something, instead of doing nothing at all. Swearing just seems to be a strange thing to target.

But anyway, I accept that some people are offended by swearing, and there are kids on the service (even though there shouldn't be, but that's a whole other argument), so I can understand why they want to enforce it a little.

I still don't understand the attitude towards swearing in America. Maybe it's because I've lived in Scotland my whole life, but swearing is a complete non-issue. I just don't understand why some people get so worked up and offended about a word which someone has told them they should be offended about. Why? It's just a word.

You can wreck, cheat and exploit all you want, but one fuck and you're gone.

I've noticed this a lot on iRacing with the Americans, swearing is the worst thing you can possibly do, which it just isn't.

Anyway, I'm calling bullshit on cancelling accounts for swearing, no chance they will follow through, and if they do, they're a joke. All the exploiting and dodgy behaviour that's been going on (which iRacing have generally been ignoring) should be more of a priority than almost meaningless words.

On the phone to Jenson Button were you? Or just completely making stuff up with no sources as usual?

I've found the connection to the iRacing servers to be fantastic, I get pings of just over 100 to the US servers, with hardly moving Q and S bars, which is great really and silky smooth.

I ended up having a great 500, started about mid-pack and dropped to the back to avoid a big one, had a great green flag pitstop which put me right at the very front again. Stayed up there for the rest of the race and finished 2nd, although the race finished under caution, I think I had a good chance of getting 1st if the race went green, but 2nd is good.

I've been having huge fun with the vintage on the hillclimb in the rain.
If only I could use my clutch or change the gear ratios...
