No it's not you, pitspotter makes a lot of mistakes. saying left or right when nothing is there and sometimes saying nothing when there is a car beside you.
I'm waiting for a patch to fix it because it's a really usefull program.
That is really nice stuff they have there, but nothing is more satisfying then building it yourself.
I mean the programming and building. I'm sure I can do it if I only had more time.
Else I can always go to http://www.betainnovations.com/
Next project is a little dash with gear indicator (bleu 7 segm LED) and RPM bar.
I had the software (VB.NET) working with the old insim version but now I must start all over again.
The quickest way to make your own wheel is to use a old one as starting point.
From there you can start to modifify, change the wheel, change the steeringshaft, the bearings etc.
On my G25 I changed the wheel and made some extra buttons but I'm planning to make more changes. http://www.lfsforum.net/showthread.php?t=27071
The button part is easy, I had a old Microsoft SideWinder Precision Racing Wheel (no FF). It had 8 buttons on the wheel, I just took the electronics out and put it in my G25.

For the rest, I'm so lucky I can use a metalworkshop when I need it.
So I made a aluminium spacer and Button plate.
When you don't have acces to a workshop it is still possible, only it won't be as solid and nice looking as this one.
I'm a open wheel driver so the g25 standaard wheel was not really a option for me.
With a official MOMO wheel and a old microsoft racingwheel for the buttons, I came up with this:
Intel E6600 (@3.6 GHz) and 8800GTS 640 (@600/1000)
Screen resolution 1680x1050 with 16xAF and 8xAA.
Alone on the track +/- 200 FPS and with full grid never under 100 FPS.

This Gateway project will become really interesting for a lot of people if it makes Pitspotter work with the new insim version.
Is that a possibility in the near future?
Hey Gentle,
I'm really interested in driving the F08 but I can only drive at friday night or saturday.
So I wait till you tell us at what day of the week it will be.
Yes that's what I want , but I can't join a server with 3 computers and one username.
I'm afraid I just have to wait till I have enough money for a TripleHead2Go and a fast videocard (a 6800GT won't do the job)
TripleHead2Go = 299 euro
3 x 19" screen = 600 euro
8800GTS = 480 euro
At this moment a little to much for me.
I hoped for a cheaper solution...(I already have 2 extra computers + crt screens)
Oke, so outgauge can not sent information about your position on the track to a second computer?
Is there a other way to give that info to a second and thirth computer?
I'm asking because I have 2 extra computers and I want to use them for a left and right view.
The only way I can do that now is when I log in with a different user name on each computer.
There must be a easer way, I hope.
Maybe a stupid question, but is het possible to use outgauge for a multi monitor setup.
Send info to a second computer (with LFS running) so I can have a different view there?

Thanks Dev's, now I'm hooked.
I can kiss my social life goodbey, because I can't stop playing with the new BF1.
It's so f***ing fast and very easy to drive.
Now all the other cars are way to SLOW......
Great work !!!
