Hey, Im newish to 3dsmax i understand most tings but there is one ting that has me baffled atm. What i want to do is apply a texture to objects such as wheels,exhausts,etc what i have tryed to do is press M like you do to apply a skin but i have no idea were to go from there. i have looked at a few online tutoirals but they go throught all sorts of mapping and stuff i was hopeing someone here could break it down simply.

any greater then 500, it bounces off the nct dyno and fails ( NCT = MoT in uk. )

Thats Bull the nct dont dyno the car they just put it on rollers to test the brakes the engine dosnt even have to be turned on the rollers are set to a force and if the brakes cant stop that force the car fails.

Why do drifters miss it? Do they like hitting the rev limiter and having their drift suddenly stop as they rear tyres become undriven? Or is it an image thing - they don't care how the car performs, as long as it looks or sounds 'cool'?

Its beacuse in drifts you use the trottle to control the angle you dont just floor it and hit the limiter the whole way throught the drift.
There fore as drifters adjust the trottle the car will hit the limter when they need full trottle.

yeah thats good advice but i know that from before i will be very careful who i pick im not looking for raw talent and people who are wicked fast but people who will contribute to the team be friendly and stick to the rules.

Yup im a one man band atm hopefully that will change soon.

It has been my intention to reopen the team for quite a while and after leaving Dynamic Racing i dicided to take the plunge and try and make it a success.

Ya i saw that but they mentioned on the forum that they aim to have the game fully finished by the end of this month.

Ina perfect world i would love a AE86 or a Skyline im 17 in november (the driving age over here) but i have to be realistic and probaly end up buyin a 1.4civic or a saxo or someting as insurance over here is ridiculas. If i was u i would buy a FWD small engined car and buy a skyline for taking to tracks ans drift days and the like if u still realy want a RWD car.

That may be ture but here in the south of ireland i assure you there is no haterid of british/english people it has all long since passed but i know what you mean the 80s-90s were a bad time but since the situation in the north has largley diffused in recent times anyone englishn living in anypart of the country should expericence none of this "haterid" what so ever.
