I would like to get lfs, its just very pricey (almost 50 us dollars) and its not even a complete product. For 30 I would not question it, but its the most expensive sim I have seen. Guess I can wait and see if the price ever drops.

thanks

Quote from tristancliffe :All you get. LFS isn't about tacky, unrealistic and poorly made mods that you have to keep downloading the updates for, but about simple, close online racing.

I don't know about unrealistic and poorly made, there are alot of fantastic mods and tracks for rfactor, same with nr2k3
addons..

Are there tracks you can download and install? like rfactor, has mods/tracks/cars etc. Or is what comes with s1/s2 all you get?

thanks

Quote from George Kuyumji :Welcome.

LFS is still in development, it has not been marketed the way finished games are beeing marketed.
Perhaps you havent stumbled across it because of that, in the Sim Racing community it is the most popular Online Simulation, even though the Program is still in "Alpha" stage and it has not beeing advertised.

... and btw it is kinda unfair to compare a Sim from 1998 to one that isnt even finished in 2007

Is the game being actively worked on? almost 50 bucks for a game in alpha form is pretty steep. Are there many add on tracks and cars?
I am considering purchasing the game but it is quite expensive compared to other sims out there. (I have gtr2, Race, rFactor)
