On patch 0.5Z13 Turbo cars seem to do it the best... the rest are sort of hit and miss for me and my keyboard (FZ50 was pretty crappy at it to my surprise).
All of the RWD turbo cars will do it with the provided RACE_S settings (FXO needs a few changes ) though the XR GT Turbo might try to slide a bit with colder tires.
So, just to confirm what Keling said, its probably the tires that mostly cause the problem.
Id like to know how car deformation works in this game?
Anyway, the tracks would need to be a bit higher in detail for the Sega Rally deformation to work properly. The trails just wouldnt look (nor work) right otherwise.
Although I personally think the rallycross portion of the game isnt quite up to par with the general level of LFS yet anyway. Something about the surface and handling just doesnt feel right.
I think you can safely announce a test patch on the front page and then add that the Scirocco has been postponed further. Any news would do at this point.
Its just been stagnant for way too long in that regard.
I cant say Im an experienced driver... since the most driving/hooning Ive done is with a Subaru Legacy and a mk2 Golf on gravel. However, what Ive gathered is that you do have to correct your steering input depending on how the car is behaving. You COULD hold the same steering lock during the whole corner (or try to do it the same way every time) but then you COULD also drive into a ditch.
Wasnt the Scirocco postponed because of lacking physics.
I swear to god I read on this forum that Scawen had to rewrite something in the engine to make the Scirocco handle correctly (and if I recall properly it was the oversteer that was the issue).

Im sorry... I just have to chime in a little diddy.
When I read that a car rolling over was considered a feature I chuckled quite hartily.
Anyway, Im all for it that simulations are getting more realistic (thats the whole point of it init). A little competition in the racing genre dont hurt anybody either.
Tried to fix bmwe30m3's Estonian Training pack. Fixed grammar, wording (or at least tried; somebody should read them over), added headings and missing files.
Havent tested in S2... worked fine in demo though.
