There are 3 changes in cars list before next race,here are these in alphabetical order:
Approved mods are added to list by default if fulfilling requirements,the N.400S has been updated recently to have skin support,therefor it's now eligible for RandomCar!

The car will start with 23% air restrictor.
After 2 wins in 2 races it's now sure that URC1 is overperforming and will receive additional 20kg ballast to reach a total of 50% air restrictor + 140kg ballast.

AWS 2023 final standings
12th season of the yearly winter league was different from previous 11 - for the first time ever each round was run with different car,making the series a proper allrounder challenge. 8 different cars had to be mastered and that on 4 different course types - road courses,street courses,rallycross tracks and ovals. In terms of numbers this season was a minor step backwards,except for count of rounds - this was a return to 8 rounds schedule,previously used only in the 1st two seasons. There were a total of 40 signups (3 less than last season,4 more than average),but 8 drivers never attended,making actual competitors count 32 (also 3 less than last season and 4 more than average). Just like last season 29 participants scored at least 1 point and qualified for season finale,which is still 5 more than league's all time average. The average attendance per round dropped by 2.5 - this season we had 14.4 drivers per round (which is 0.3 more than all time average),ranging from 11 in round 3 to 18 in rounds 2 and 4.
AWS 2023 Drivers Champion: A.Valta
11 seasons produced 11 different drivers champions - this trend was bound to be changed this season as there were 3 previous champions in the signups list,one of them attended in all 8 rounds. The 2016 champion A.Valta started his 2nd AWS season with a win and never left the table lead through rest of the season. He won a total of 5 rounds and finished 2nd in another one,lacking the performance only in both oval rounds,still scoring the 7th top5 finish in one of those. The finn reached a total of 8 wins in the AWS,tying Dzidoris for 2nd most,similar with pole positions - adding the 4 from this year made him tie Dzidoris for all time 2nd most.
Last season's rookie of the year Thehemuli was on chasing position whole season long,but saw the gap to leader increasing after almost each round,finally losing contact before final round. Despite not being able to win a race like he did in his rookie season,5 second place finishes and 1 third place finish brought him 2nd position in season overall standings,scoring also his 1st pole position in round 7. The 2019 drivers championship runner up scored his 2nd overall podium this season - his early part of the season was not fast,but with constant results he settled in 3rd position in standings,practically securing it for final standings in round 7 which brought him first ever AWS race win. The defending champion V.Lakūnas attended only in round 2 and picked up all points from it,but without any other effort that puts him in 14th position overall this year.
AWS 2023 Rookie of the Year: (kvsyenhoj)
The competition for this award was rather non-existant on season start,but it livened up later - a slovakian driver with backwards spelled name increased his activity on latter part of the season,collecting points slowly to take over lead in rookie standings just after final round. He attended 5 rounds,finishing in positions between 11 and 13 in all of those,qualifying 10th on his debut,finishing 13th in overall standings. Happyd had even better debut - he won his first AWS race,but never attended again and finished season as 2nd best rookie and 15th overall.
AWS 2023 Cross Challenge winner: A.Valta
Winning all 3 rounds on rallycross tracks pretty much sealed the deal alone for the drivers champion to score also his 2nd Cross Challenge award. He did not score only 3 from possible 66 points this year. Also here Thehemuli was his main rival,finishing 2nd in 2 rounds,3rd in other one. The defending champion Fatal did not even sign up for this season.
AWS 2023 Oval Trophy winner: ZFRL•Thehemuli
Finishing 2nd in both oval rounds was enough to clinch the award,adding a pole position in 2nd round. Thehemuli finished 2nd in this minor competition last year,scoring his only AWS race win back then. Also Michal scored his only AWS win on oval,but at least he did it this year - just like 2019 the czech driver finished 2nd in Oval Trophy standings this year. The defending champion Unite attended only 1 round this season,finishing 8th in it and 12th in Oval Trophy standings.
AWS 2023 Megawatt Award winner: A.Valta
The brand new award from last season was given out also this year as 2 rounds were run with electrically powered cars,introducing a new 2-race system for the league. The overall champion A.Valta was unbeatable in both rounds,taking all possible 44 points. The rounds podiums both were identical,that of course brought 2nd position in this award to driver finishing 2nd in both rounds - Thehemuli. Fatal was a defending champion also for this award.
AWS 2023 Teams Champions: Race Green Autosports
The hosting team and also 5-time AWS Teams champions RGA once again were on top of the game to clinch their 6th teams title. They outscored all other teams in 4 rounds,placing 2 best drivers in 4th and 5th in drivers standings. Even if none of the drivers finished higher than 3rd in any round,the team still scored a total of 8 top5 finishes and 2 pole positions. Just like their top driver,also the Zafiralis team increased their performance from 4th to 2nd position. Also they did not score a single win,but team's drivers scored 6 second place finishes and a pole position,finishing 2nd and 3rd in round 5. The 3rd best team Master Race car was represented by 5 drivers,2 of them even scored a race win (both on oval rounds),however the overall performance was good enough for 3rd place in teams standings,collecting 7 top5 finishes through out the season. The defending champions LLM had just a single driver this year,who finished 7th in standings and put his team in 5th position in teams standings.
AWS 2023 Nations Cup winners: Finland
The least doubts about a specific title receiver was in Nations Cup - Finland took over the standings lead right at the start of the season by scoring all 39 points,repeating that in other 2 rounds,being outscored just in single round. Besides top two positions in drivers standings,the defending champions nation scored also 5 race wins (all by drivers champion),15 top5 finishes and 5 pole positions. Czechia was the only nation that managed to outscore Finland in a round,but that was not nearly enough to challenge for title - still 2nd place is a repeat of their best AWS result. The czech drivers scored a total of 9 top5 finishes,including a race win. The 5-time champions Lithuania had even worse season this year compared to previous year as they finished 3rd,despite a win and 2 pole positions,as they scored just 6 top5 finishes with best driver finishing 7th in drivers championship.

This race was just another proof of variations in this event - a month ago we raced a high speed single seater,just like a week ago in the shorter version of the event. And yesterday - the slowest standard car of LFS,the 55 horsepower compact car,which could not even exceed 100km/h average race speed yesterday. And despite variations between the last 2 races,we have a back to back winner.
There was no real competition in this race for the hungarian Gábor,who was the only one to beat the 1:07 laptime mark and he did that in both sessions,setting same best laptime. Even if he led just 2 laps more than half of the full distance,there were no doubts about winner even if his advantage in finish was everything else than dominating - 6 seconds. Gábor scored his 5th RTFR XL race win,tying his teammate Litti for all time 3rd most. He also scored his 6th pole position (now sole 3rd most),5th fastest lap of the race (tied 4th most) and 13th top5 finish. R.Kardol led the remaining laps during the race,taking over race lead due different pitstop strategy,returning the lead to the rightful owner with 2 laps to go. With this the dutchman extended his lead in most top5 finishes chart by scoring his 37th and also he extended his lead in 2023 standings as his only close rival did not attend. The other Ric had his best ever RTFR XL performance - he qualified 4th improving his best previous effort by a single position,while his 3rd place finish was 2 positions better than his only other previous top5 finish. Also J.Pickard had his best ever qualifying in RTFR XL - 2nd place is an improvement by 2 positions,however his race did not go so well and he slipped down to 4th position in finish,scoring his 3rd top5 finish. Twincam joined the improvers club too - 5th place in both qualifying and race is a position better than previous best in both sessions - and he is also the first irishman to finish in top5.
* FUN FACT OF THE MONTH :
During this race a driver exceeded 500 laps led mark,but it was not the race winner - R.Kardol leads this chart since 73rd RTFR XL and this was already the 21st race where he led at least a lap. His success rate however sinks under 50% - he won "just" 10 of these 21 races.
* CLOCK PITTER OF THE RACE :
In most cases this mention seems to go to Finland and this race was no difference - Thehemuli stopped for 10.10 seconds without any pitwork.
* FIELD RUSHER OF THE RACE :
There were not much high positions movers in this race,still many improved - Lorenzo had the highest climb with a +7 positions effort. However he finished just 18th.

Pitting rules:
Race requires a minimum time spent in pitstall of 10 seconds. That can be done either with single pitstop or sum of multiple pitstops. Driver who has spent less time will receive penalty time added to his finish time,which will be calculated by tripling the missing time to complete neccesary minimum time and adding additional 5 seconds. Drivers failing to pit at all will receive 1 minute penalty added to finish time (10s*3 + additional 30s).

Despite being a replica of rather the tale end car from the early 90ies F1 series,still it requires plenty of skill to keep it on track at high race pace. That resulted in quite few drivers throwing the towel and leaving before qualifying,but many of the RTFR regulars took the challenge and most of them completed the full race distance without bigger problems. Still it was the lowest attendance in last 10 races.
V.Lagooga joined the server regulary before the actual event and practiced a lot - that resulted in a clean sweep of achievements from this week's race as he was fastest in qualifying and led every meter of the race. The lithuanian scored his 15th pole position,breaking the tie for 3rd most,his 8th racewin,6th fastest lap of the race and 15th top5 finish. R.Kardol started from inside of 2nd row,got past his teammate and finished 2nd to score his 72nd top5 finish. A.Valta started even lower - from outside of row 3,still was able to progress all the way up to podium finish,scoring his 17th top5 finish. Current standings and 15 race rating leader Gábor qualified 2nd just 0.15s behind polesitter,but had some trouble to lose few positions - 4th place finish and 40th top5 finish in his stats. Mantas closed the top5 for the 3rd race in row and added the 6th top5 finish to his achievements.

For the 2nd day in row in LFS community there was an event consisting of 2 races and using electric powered cars with range smaller than race distance. Even if only 3 were racing in both events,almost all racers knew how to do stuff and finished both races without need to recharge the battery despite rallycross driving being rather ineffective regarding energy use.
This was the 2nd round with 2-race format in AWS,previous being run with car with longer range and on paved surface,still the race results were the same also this monday - A.Valta had no competition and run away from rest of the field unchallenge to win both races and score all 22 points from round once again. The rest of the podium was also a repeat - Thehemuli took 2nd place in 1st race and finished 3rd in 2nd,but still clinched 2nd place in round,Lorenzo finished 3rd,beat the finn on 2nd race,but with much smaller gap and ended 3rd in overall round results.

The long awaited season finale is reached - unfortunatelly without intrigueing battle for main championship title. Still it's racing for pride and glory and it's gonna be held in same combination as last year's season opener - the electrified RX version of XFR will be run in Summer Grass Rally layout. Compared to last year,the car has lost some power and gained weight due battery enlargement,making it slower but also increasing it's range. Still the range is not big enough to complete the 16 laps race with full performance,so drivers will have to find some pace/range compromise. Alternativelly the pitlane is offering possibility to recharge battery,but despite being faster than real life recharge,it's still quite slow and most likelly is disadvantageous. And that 2 times to sum up in 1 round result as in previous electric powered round this year.
Even if drivers championship and nations cup has been decided,there are still few other awards awaiting for their owners - Rookie of the year,Cross challenge,Megawatt award and Teams championship. A total of 29 drivers have qualified for season finale and have the possibility to impact decisions of all open awards - new signups are not possible anymore.

AWD cars do not have regen in LFS. There was some problems with too many differentials.
Regarding showing concrete objects on map - I don't see any use of that in other tracks,but in lots like AU1,BL4 and WE3 would surely be useful to have some markings on map.

[MRc] PedroBR - receives a 30 seconds penalty added to his finish time for unsupported equippment (using disallowed configuration "Undercover")

Round 2 had 1 driver in qualifying less,however all 32 qualifyers were present on the grid,where only the polesitter was struck by his own connection resulting in the only retirement of the day. Just like in previous round,a total of 15 different cars were represented in the field,3 others were drawn,but never used.
The name of the car turns out to be a prediction - the Ultimate Road Car number one finished the 2nd race as the winner. Texas received the car as the only one and qualified 3rd with it. He slipped in the race lead already in lap 6 to complete remaining distance as leader - 1st ever racewin for the polish driver in Race Green Events hosted races. V.Lagooga with the modified XF model was 2nd fastest in both sessions,but managed to snatch the fastest lap of the race on his penultimate lap. R.Kardol completed the all midengine-rwd car podium with his Starlin,gaining 3 positions during the race.
After 2 rounds it's worth to take a look at the standings - V.Lagooga finished on podium twice and leads the standings by 6 points over his countryman Fast,who finished in top5 in both races. A.Valta is 3rd another 2 points back,also having 2 top5 finishes in the bag.
Team S1dus scored most points in round 2 and took over standings lead in teams championship,currently 13 points ahead of RGA,WCL is 3rd with 24 points gap to leaders. The same old Lithuania vs Finland duel is happening also in RandomCar - Lithuania currently leads by 12 points. Poland is now 3rd with just less than a half of points scored compared to leaders. In the first ever RGE's manufacturers championship there are no doubts about leader - URC1 has won both races and leads table by 8 points over Imprezzive. LFS's home grown FXO is 3rd another 3 points back.
The winner hasn't replied yet so we currently don't know which track will be used in round 3,but that will change on the coming tuesday at latest. What's known is that we will have 1st "on the fly" balancing adjustment - the highly performing URC1 will receive extra 10kg ballast from next round onwards and will be kept under view to decide if another set will be required. Next tuesday the server will be used for event with server's name again - RTFR will return with some fast action,full info will be posted on the weekend. But in 2 weeks the pace will drop significantly as in RTFR XL we will race the slowest standard LFS car!

Of course there isn't one - South City is part of paid content of LFS and therefor users should access it only by purchasing LFS licence (S1 or higher). This means such convertion for other game is actually illegal.

The 4th century of RTFR races was started with the 1st ever return of a mod car. Despite many complaints about the "crapbox" type of the car,attendance was high - 36 drivers in qualifying means that the Shark C will take top position in cars popularity list between cars used more than once. The car received update between then and now,but it did not change it's characteristics - a relativelly simple driving rear wheel drive lightweight car,wich still requires some proper skillset to be over average fast. In the 6.6km Fern Bay Black configuration this car needs more than 5 seconds longer than LFS's slowest standard car UF1 to complete a lap.
Current 2023 S1 standings and 15 race rating leader Gábor was the one to beat also this tuesday - he qualified 2nd just 1/20 of a second slower on a 3 and a half minutes lap,took race lead by outrunning polesitter on way to 1st turn and after the pass was complete,he never saw a car in front of him again. After leading all 9 laps the hungarian scored his 19th RTFR race win and 40th top5 finish,reaching a quarter century of wins for Hungary. R.Kardol started right behind the polesitter and needed much more time to pass him,still he eventually slipped by and was able to reduce distance to leader,but it was not enough for victory,so he had to settle for 2nd place finish,which is his 71st top5 finish,while during the chase he set a fastest lap of the race,which is also a new lap record of the combo - that's his 12th fastest lap of the race. V.Laguckas tied Gábor for 3rd most pole positions in qualifying by scoring his 14th,but lost 2 positions during the race finishing 3rd,which is also his 14th top5 finish. Remaining 2 top5 finishers finished in same positions they started - the freshly crowned 2-time AWS champion A.Valta finished 4th for the 2nd day in row,scoring his 16th top5 finish,followed by Mantas in 5th position,which is his 5th top5 finish.

Next week there is no RTFR,but the server will be used for 2nd round of our brand new league RandomCar - a series,where drivers get drawn their car randomly for the race out of pool of 18 different but balanced cars. If you still haven't signed up for it,do it until evening of monday as very late signups will get their cars drawn just 20 minutes before qualifying. In 2 weeks time RTFR will return with one of the slick tyre cars,as always some info can be found out if watched the broadcast carefully,but in 3 weeks RTFR XL will bring the slowest LFS standard car to the shortest Aston's standard configuration!
