heres a new tire smoke texture i made. its not a huge difference but i think its better. it has less of a grey colour and a deeper texture to make it look less like fog and more cloud-like. i know its not perfect yet but try it and tell me what you think

i dont know if this has been done yet but heres some tweak sets i made after real cars. they are: chrysler 300c, bmw m3, m6, chevrolet c6 z06, porsche carrera gt, saleen s7tt, infiniti g35, acura rsx, shelby gt500, audi s8, nissan silvia s15, and mitsubishi lancer fq360.

i recommend using the slickmod by kegetys because most of the cars like the s7 for example are too fast for r2 tires so i prefer r1s. for the lancer, g35 etc the r3s and r2s are good also. some cars like the carrera gt and c6 may need practice... the engine performance and gear ratios are pretty much exact but suspension and steering are hard to replicate so expect some oversteer for some cars...(hp/torque @ rpms may be slightly off as lfstweak doesnt allow you to change the position of the power on the rpm range)

anyways....try them out and tell me what you think. if you have any requests i am happy to do more

hey these are pretty cool! love em... but the sounds really sound like the ones from the game gtr2. lots of people steal sounds from that game and send them to the public for lfs mods like the backfire mod, those were taken from gtr2..... but anyway good job

well i tried changing the colour to more of a grey but it didnt really turn out that great. it starts to stand out in different lighting conditions and when you flash the lights, the whole square area lights up too. also the area around the yellow light stays black for some reason. so the original colour is probably better....

heres some replacement lights i made for the fz5/fzr. theyre similar to the originals but are smaller and look alot better in my opinion. it looked too much like a bug before lol. its a small difference but seems to change the whole look of the car...

man i love this texturing stuff ....heres some headlights for the fxo/fxr. im still not sure on how much better they are, but theyre here if you want them. they were originally from the audi rs4.

Heres my 2nd attempt at making brake rotors. they're cross drilled, have a more realistic colour, and i think they blend in better with the car than my last one.

oh yea i forgot theres always a little program running in the background so ill try closing that. i dont normally use a mouse btw i gotta wheel but yea i try the game a few times and see if it does it again.

no im in full screen and i play with a wheel but i can still steer with a mouse. its just when i go to the menu i cant see where im clicking. its not just in the game, even when i minimize lfs i cant see the cursor moving on the desktop.

I have the logitech mx1000 laser mouse and ever since I downloaded lfs its been acting up. 9 out of 10 times i start the game the cursor will lock up, i can still click things but the cursor doesnt move. it normally happens within 5 mins of starting the game and ill have to restart my computer a few times before it works normally. has anyone else had this problem or might know how to fix it? would it just be compatibility problems? its never happened with any other games...

yes i know theres another falken skin out there and i didnt try to copy it... i just love the falken drift cars so i thought it would be a cool first project. anyway this has alot more detail and sum carbon fibre parts with a burnt exhaust tip look.
