Hey guys,

We're going to be holding a drift series on Sundays either weekly or fortnightly (depending on interest).

The series will be held similar to the DA D1GP format:

- 2 competitors make 2 runs each, one leading, and one chasing.
- The runs are made over a short number of corners. (4-6)
- Scoring is based on entry, angle, speed, proximity and line.

Competition is open to all Australian and NZ drifters, so spread the word.

Awesome, I have been waiting for something like this forever. However I can't get it to work on my PDA

I can get it to connect to lfs saying outguage is enabled and the log file says it's recieving VER and Tiny packets however no telemetry is displayed

Any ideas?
Oh, I have disabled my firewall aswell.

One thing that reallly gets me is when people say "I could care less" when they're saying that they don't care for something. It's "I COULDN'T care less" people! Honestly, think about it.

Hehe, little late now. But the truth is, I got the 7600's really cheap. I'm talking like 80 bucks each. So when the time comes around I can upgrade without losing much.

Argh, damn you guys. I'm considering the G25 now. If I can get the G25 $400 or under, I'll probably get it.

Yeah, I understand the G25 wheel is much better than the DFP, but the pedal case is plastic and anything plastic under my feet feels cheap to me and I feel like i'm going to break it (size 11.5 feet)

And when it all comes down to it, I just can't justify spending nearly $500 on a gaming controller all in one hit

But anyway, I'm off to bed. Thanks for the replies guys.

Yes, that would be nice but the g25 is way overpriced here in oz. I'm kinda thinking long term here aswell. The way I see it, get the DFP now with a shifter, get some A1 pedals a month or two down the road, sell the momo on ebay. Then I'll have better quality pedals and possibly shifter than the g25 for roughly the same price.

Allrighty then, I recently upgraded my computer because something went bad in my old one and I couldn't be bothered figuring out what (I'll figure it out later.)

So christmas is coming up and because DFP's are starting to drop in price I was thinking about asking for one.
Now, the plane was to use my current momo's pedals as a clutch. So this means I would have two wheels plugged in. Okay, this should work right? I just won't plug the momo's AC power in so there is no FF on that wheel.

Okay, so next problem. Now that I've got a clutch, I need a H-shifter. So i was thinking of either buying an Act-Labs one or modding a joystick. So here's my question. Can I have three usb devices plugged in and working at the same time?

But there's a leader board if you press F9 and F9 again to get rid of the trye info I think.

I'm right handed and I drive in Aus (so on the left hand side) I have also driven left hand drive cars with the shifter on the right. I must say I find it easier with the shifter on the left because while changing gears I can keep my dominant hand on the steering wheel thus having more control over the car.

Well waiting in anticipation for Australia's first world cup match to start against Japan, I decided to knock up a quick skin for the XFR. This is in no means finished, I'm looking for suggestions

No, netdemon got it pretty much right although there is another form of bracket racing.

You dial in your time say 18secs and the competitor dials in say 14secs

Now because you have the slower car you get a head start of 4secs but if you go under your bracket you get redlighted.

Although the way netdemon described is how most pro races are run.
