The forum and website has recieved a massive revamp over the past few weeks. The whole website has been re-designed to be more user friendly and the forum is now inbuilt into the website itself, rather than being a seperate thing.

I've also revamped the parts section and im in the process of doing the car dealership.

The dark skin has had to go now unforuntately as i couldnt impliment the features into that i wanted. But in the future a black skin will probably be returned

Just ignore the subtext? It was put there to help, it explains each section. And the important sections are in green and red while the not so important are just plain coloured.

What bit was too confusing? We're always working to improve the site so i would like to fix the problem.

Over the overall game is confusing, like all pixel car rpgs, i cant change that. But i can improve the pixel car bible (which we're actually doing at the moment) to explain the game better.

Actually thats wrong, i created the first automated pixel car rpg. That is what manga car world was 2 years ago.

It was a phpbb forum with loads of mods, and you just went to the shop, clicked buy, and it went to your inventory. This was for cars and parts.

But it still meant that you had to update your images yourself and stuff. However it wasn't very succesful, so i went back to the manual method.

But yes it is long, (hence why i dont even play myself anymore, i just run it) If you have time its great, if not, its probably not for you.

We aren't as far as i know. But even if we are, they have no foot to stand on, legally. We aren't claming they're ours, and we credit all original authors. We try not to piss PCL off though, trouble is they think they own the pixel car rpg market.

To pacesetter: The forum was recently left to slip into a pretty bad state. I have since returned and pumped weeks of work (and £50 hosting) into it. It will not be reset again. Thats a fact.

To boosted: I know, it appears confusing. Thats the reason why i created my own game 3 years ago, because i couldnt understand PCL. But seriously, read the PCW Bible, which can be located here http://pixelcarworld.com/bible.htm

It shows you how to create your profile and signature, which is the boring difficult bit. After that its pretty easy and the guys on there are always very helpful.

Good evening,

I am just here to introduce you to PCW. Pixel Car World is an online pixel Car based 'RPG' or role playing game. Playing this game is like emersing yourself into the World of modified Cars, street racing, track racing and custom Car shows. And before you start, it's not like the other wannabes. PCW (previously known as MCW) has been around since 2006 and has always had a solid community of active members. We recently moved over to a .com domain and to a phpbb board, but its still the same great game.

I'm running lfs with a 3200+ Amd (at 2.5ghz OC) and a 7600GT
It runs at 1680x1050 with AAx8 AFx16 and i get 40-60fps

Slightly off topic but, Luke, You really shouldn't post here until you know what your talking about.
I have logitech z2300's (the 2.1 version of the z5500's)
They set me back just over £100..
And seriously, the logitech z series are in a different league to whatever speakers you have, hence the high price.

Do a review of the 2300's and you will see they're the best 2.1 speakers for that price range, same with the 5500's...

Just because your speakers 'play sound' doesn't mean they're the same quality as more expensive speakers. If i bought a £10 set of speakers id be pretty pissed if they played no sound at all. Your speakers DON'T do the same job as 5500's, hence why theyre 10x the price.

If your going to build a 1k system, theres no point sticking a £25 set of speakers on it, he wants the best of the best, not budget parts.



Back on topic:

From what i've read the AMD quad cores are really lacking at the moment, so if you really want to go quad core i'd recommend intel not amd.
