These days I was analyzing how people like the XR, it's the most loved original LFS car!
With that we had the idea (my brother and I) to create a new generation for the XR from scratch. It's a big challenge, we made some sketches by hand and then moved to the computer. Of course, these are just the first sketches, a lot can and will certainly change.
The XR was clearly inspired by the Mitsubishi Starion, and its interior is from the Mitsubishi 3000GT/GTO. As there is no real successor to the old Mitsubishis, we were inspired by a sketch made by a South African designer, in which he made his digital reinterpretation of what he imagines the new generation of the Mitsubishi sports car would be. Obviously we want to create something nostalgic, more oriented to what the original XR is, but it served as an inspiration. The first photo is the concept that the Designer created of what he imagines to be the new generation of the 3000GT, and the others are our first sketches of the New XR! More details coming soon!
Thank you friend! I'm still changing and improving this project, and it really is a big challenge. As it is based on a MotoGP (low weight and a lot of power), the ideal would be the simulation of the counterweight in the curves providing greater stability. But I believe LFS will improve this issue for motorcycles in the future!
For an upcoming changelog, I'm working on smoothing the mesh, adding details like side air vents and front air intake, in addition to the changes I've made to the physics.
Responding to your statements:
1. Every suspension frame is being redone, including the 3d on the front.
2. I've already reduced the brake force for a next update, although with this configuration I can achieve approximately 7 seconds from 330 km/h to 100 km/h, considering that is a number close to MotoGP. with the new setting, that number has dropped to approximately 7.7 seconds, but the balance has improved.
3. I didn't remove the downforce, but I improved the performance in the front and rear for a next update, the result for me was very good and I managed to do a lap in Aston falling only once. Maybe i remove the downforce.
4. I have already modified weight distribution.
5. As for the sound of the engine, as it is a racing bike, I made the sound to be as close as possible, but I can change it.
In parallel with other projects that were stopped due to problems with my computer (unfortunately I lost some mods I was developing), I decided to experimentally create a motorcycle for Live for Speed. At first it was supposed to be a super street bike, but I modified the project to MotoGP. There is still a lot to be done, but the project you can see in this video:
I had created a topic about this, hybrid systems would be very interesting, in addition to the CVT transmission, since many hybrid street cars use this type of transmission. :-D
It would be really nice to have an automatic transmission that works intelligently, in which releasing the accelerator, it shifts to the higher gears, and stepping on the accelerator again, reduces to the ideal gear!
Would be very interesting! Even a traction system similar to that of pickup trucks: 4x4 with the option of using only rear wheel drive, in addition to reduced 4x4. For that, it would be more interesting to have more off road tracks in Live for Speed :-D
Sorry, I hadn't seen your posts about that. It would be an excellent idea for mods that are objects that could be added in shit+U mode.
I was building a highway with gas stations, hotels, rubber shops, houses and police stations. But I've reached the limit of objects that can be inserted, and there's much space to fill. To build a house there are several objects, and the limit is quickly reached. It would be interesting if with just one mod of a house for example, it used only one object, and not the approximate 35 that we need to build one in shift+U mode.
I don't know if it would be possible in the future, or if there's already a topic about it, but it would be interesting to have object mods in the "shift+U" function
So we could build houses, car workshops, bridges and many other objects to assemble a scenario, like a city, especially in Layout Square. I know we would have the limit of objects that could be placed issue, but it's just a suggestion :-)
I know it is extremely difficult to simulate a continuously variable transmission, but it would be interesting as many cars use this type of transmission, including hybrid models.
I'm creating some models that use CVT transmission, for that I use paddle shift with very short ratios.
I'm working on the engine sound, trying to get inspired by reality... the F4RT sound reminds a lot of the 4G63, I'm trying to align... real car sound engine: https://youtu.be/yS6oHjR6E2o
Não é do GTA, nem sei como exportar de lá... Meu irmão é enstusiasta do Sketchup, fazemos mods há tempos para o antigo WR2 (Vide canal Gearbox do YouTube), e tenho um amigo que trabalha com arquitetura. Sempre compartilhamos trabalhos. Abraço.
