On Friday i just about got hit up th back by a woman (again pfff) in a Volvo while i was slowing down for a car turning off the road... Stupid bitch was chatting away swaying her head about n didnt see everyone coming to a halt... She locked it up, swerved and spun the car past me just about hitting the car coming the other way, Luckily it was a man coming the other way and had seen what was going on and stopped in time...

IDK how she even locked it up or spun as it should have had ABS and was only maybe 8 years old, Was an estate too so would have ripped thru my sis Punto id borrowed, Which had 2 kids in it at th time...

Did you try system restore from the F8 boot menu?

WIN-R wont work when explorer isnt running since almost all shortcuts are handled by explorer except the SAS/ctrl-alt-del.. Well not on Xp anyways..

You need to ctrl-alt-del and run task manager. From there you can get a run box and then type explorer and enter...

Tho you might not even get that far if you cant even login...

Did you try a system restore from the F8 menu?...

Well i was thinking about getting this but now the PS3 packed in... It only 3 months old and wont play any discs without skipping... The thing has also developed a loud rattle even when no disc loaded...

No worries tho, Phoned Sony on Friday, Will be here Monday with a replacement...

Do u guys get really slow net access from ur PS3? Took about 2 hours to patch little big planet and speed checks in the browser only gets about 1/10 of what anything else on my internet does... tried wired and wifi but get same results...

Im just going to leave it and hope it clears up... Its what Tiscali is telling my router to use thru ppp config but its just not there all the time.. Maybe a ddos attack or server swap or something...

Hey there, anyone here having dns problems with Pipex/Tiscali for the last day or so?..

Most sites i visit dont respond 1st try and every other nslookup check fails...

Ive tried resetting the router and flushing the ppp and dns caches but its still messing about...

Even on the routers connection check the primary dns (212.139.132.4) fails 90% of the time...

I know Pipex/Tiscali is crap but its the only isp willing to give me 8 meg here, Which i havnt had a problem with until last night...

Im just curious if others are having the same problem or if its just me before i call their stupid illiterate helpdesk at 10p a min...

Ur laptop is really old now, Its cpu is a P4 northwood based Celeron... I think it was a budget laptop back in 2004 lol...

Even buying a cheap £300 laptop new will give u a huge increase in performance... Upgrading to 2GB of ram will have Windows 7 flying also...

100 - 150bhp should keep u amused for a little while...
