I think they do need to be fixed. They have been fixed in objects mod v2 (making them moveable) but not everyone has that, so it will cause oob errors.

Just one thing, are they plastic or concrete barriers? I would prefer if they used a plastic material so you can break them and scatter them all over the ground. Concrete barriers will leave you with a wrecked car, so that is boring.

Quote from Lible :We will get a patch with Scirocco plus Rockingham for Christmas.

Getting the Scirocco and tyre physics are highly likely, but S3 is way off. probably for Xmas 2010.

Quote from IlGuercio :Thanks,Scawen

Haha. xD

Just to pick up on one of those fixes:

Quote :- Fix for issue where some cars would bounce on their suspension during high load situations

I actually had this problem, which was quite funny. After hitting another car, the opponent would just flip and my car will just be bouncing round the corner like a basketball. I even took a pic of it (I know, compression sucks. Don't blame me for it!)

Mmm, the Scirocco R is one of the hottest hot hatches on sale. I wouldn't mind that being the S3 car.

Chances of Rewinding in GT5, and more GT6 info.
http://www.gtplanet.net/yamauc ... at-rewind-feature-in-gt5/

Something that stuck me at the end.... it cost $60 mill to create... Woah!

As for rewinding, I actually welcome that. After all, it is in some of the newest racing games like GRID, DiRT 2 and Forza 3. No suprise GT5 has it too. If anyone is going to complain about it being unrealistic and it giving an unfair advantage to newbies who can't drive, (offline) I have one thing to say to you: don't use it.

Quote from JJ72 :Ugliest piece of shit I have ever seen.

Well in terms of design, it is not eye candy, but the detail of of car put into the game is amazing. The guys at Turn 10 can't even dream of doing such modelling.

I played quite alot of games... here are my top ones:

Burnout 3 Takedown and Revenge
Nitto 1320 Legends (I still play, not as much as before)
Street challenge Extreme velocity
Need for speed underground 2
Habbo (AHH!! Don't laugh.)
Flatout 2
Crash n Burn

Ever since I played LFS, I sorta lost interest in console gaming (since I played offline only.) a few months later, I got a PS3 and started playing online, so my interest for console gaming came back. Still, nothing beats LFS

Ramps used to get into the rallyX part of rockingham will be quite cool.

Quote from geeman1 :I don't understand how it would be a waste of time. It probably takes less time to laser scan a track and do the necessary adjustments to make it suitable for a game than it is to design and build a fantasy track from scratch.

But then there is the problem of getting the permission to use the track and getting a company to do the laser scanning meaning it could get quite expensive.

Quote from MattsterGT :will all cars except SS have that in Z23? or will it be S3?

thx for the patch

I doubt it will be in the next patch, but in the final test patch (e.g. Z30) there could be those updates.

Bump.

Here are some nfs world online screen, and things have really improved since we last saw it:

And gameplay video:

Hmmm, I hope the system requirements won't be too high. The good thing is it has a similar graphics engine to the Ungerground series.

Quote from daltonlfs :I thank all LFS DEVS

+1 to that. Each dev has something to do with the game. If there was no Progammer, there would be no game to play. If there was no Modeller, there will be nothing to play with. If there was no Webmaster, there will be no-one arguing about the Scirocco.... oh wait.

So once again, I thank all devs for making a brilliant game.

These lights have a different pattern of 'design' too (And these are stock)

I thought they were meant to be different to separate the running lights from the brake lights.
