I am in the process of starting a new multi-player series using the 'FeelThere, com (3)' server.

I would appreciate your comments and input?

The series will start using the 'BF1' car in races on ALL the LFS tracks. So, if you have a favourite, you will be able to enjoy that one as well as the others too.
There will be no teams in this event, just individual efforts will form the basis of these races.
I will be making the rules before the series starts including dates, times and number of laps required so, everyone can do their practise for every race in advance. The server will be set for the next race following the finish of each race.

During the series, I have been asked to run some Endurance races using perhaps different cars. This can be done by using 2 drivers or more. It's up to the team leader to form a team of his own.
I am open to suggestions on what cars you would like to use in this? It can be open-wheel as well as saloon cars but obviously, not at the same time.

When the BF1 series is complete, the following season will involve a different car and so on.............

In conclusion, I would like to once again thank Vic for making this possible. His innovation has inspired me.

I feel that people like Jim Clark, James Hunt and Dan Gurney to name just a few, would not agree with anything that you have said.

They always managed to get around without crashing or taking people out because it requires a higher level of concentration than racing on the billiard table types of circuits that you mention?

Ask yourself how many people have raced in the Isle of Man for both the TT and Manx GP races and lived to tell the tale.

Like every circuit, you go as fast as the track will allow you to, to exceed that margin is careless and just plain stupid.

Quote from Dac :i actually thought of that. perhaps the track is too thin and doesnt leave as much room to lay down traditional track driving techniques as weve come to like with tracks like Aston.

Excuses, excuses

You don't have to use it if you don't want to

Quote from Santtu941 :Hi. I bought LFS S2 licence last week. I've enjoyed it a lot!

And let's end this off-topic chit-chatting.
Does anyone have Kimi's 2007 or 2008 Ferrari F1 skin (For any of the formula cars). If not, then is someone brave enough to try making one for BF1?

(I didn't find any skins by searching)

Thanks for your time
Santtu

I would like that too. Its my team on the 'Feelthere.com (2)' server

Quote from Dizzydarryn :thanks for all the advice guys. sorry bout posting in the wrong place.

Ive had a look at all options. the G25 is double the price of the DFP in south africa.

is it a serious biggy to not have a clutch?

I have the DFP and no, it's no big deal not having a clutch pedal, you can always assign one of the buttons on the wheel to operate it anyway.

Considering the difference in price the DFP is better value and runs in steel bearings too.

Having said that, the G25 is the ultimate and I would love one but realism has to be considered if you on a budget. The G25 is a lot of money for that extra pedal!

Yeah, I saw that too. Trouble is he's too fat now to fit in the cockpit and was certainley struggling trying to control it.

Bet that wasn't the first time on there either? I wonder how many out takes where he crashed happened before he got it round in one piece? Tomorrow they are to show 'fatty' doing it in the real car...............should be a laugh.

Brundle was in the real car today and looked as though he was drowning, shouting for help hehehe.

Start at the back of the grid. If you can't, let them all ovetake you, then follow the guy in front of you. Watch him as he is more often the slowest.
When you find he is holding you back, overtake and catch up with the next guy. He's going faster than the back marker so, hang onto him and watch what he's doing.

This way you can become progressively faster.

I often go to the back and then see how many I can overtake before the end of the race.
