I was in same situation last 2 races. I'm in the middle of my exam period and I started in both races without any training. Kyoto race was good, because race lenght was short and I like this track. Today's race was much worst. I decided to start race with full tank and finish without tyre change. But my quickly made setup wasn't tested and strategy for race bad. I was waiting when hot tyres will get cold (I expected +- 30 minutes as gtr), but nothing happened. So I went on overheated tyres and lost much time. Tyre temperatures got ok around lap 35, what was a little late. Result is not important today. Race was very usefull for my skills - now I know how to prepare setup for longer races.
Congrats to Hannu, excelent performance.
I'm sorry for my english
Nice race!
I passed 2 FZs on start of race and gained 2nd position. Laps 1-10 were quite ok, DaveWS in front was much faster, Vain and Gfresh a few seconds behind. Little crisis came on lap 11, my front right tyre was very hot so I had to slow down. Vain deleted gap between us and succesfully passed me. I tryed to get my position back, but it wasn't possible. Vain's FZ50 was faster and my front tyre very hot. During last a few laps my tyre got cold and I was going faster and faster. But nothing changed, 3rd finally. Thx to Vain for good fight and sorry for hit.
I can't participate this round, I'm sorry. I got something very important to do. Maybe there is very very little chance to be back at time, but... Around 1%. have a good race.
Very hard race for me. Almost without training, I did only a few laps hour before the race. Another thing was +18kg for my RAC (mainly acceleration was reduced). Apologies to Lococost for several hits, I really wasn't in good condition. But I'm satisfied, 3rd place is good. Congrats to Hannu and Lococost (and enjoy your ballast next round) .
Qualification:
1st place... Unexpected great result.
Race:
I had good start of race. Until lap 8 everything was ok, then front tyres gone. cP drivers passed me, so I finished 4th. Not great performance, but I'm very happy as 1st RAC and 4th overally. FZ's had advantage there. I'm looking forward to South City, I'm sure I'll be much more competitive.

I said I'll change car, but It will deppend on my personal situation before first race. If I'll have enough time, my choose will be FZ50. If not, RAC (I love this car and don't need train so much).
Thanks to Dan for organising and all participators for great championship. Great cars (I love LRF class), great drivers, superb fun.
Q:
1, but I'm not sure if my lap fastest lap was correct. It is very possible, that point for qualifying winner would be counted to Bratwurst.
R:
One of hardest races of RSSC for me. After start, I was possible to hold Bratwurst behind me, around 1 second back. On lap 6, Bratwurst deleted the gap and succesfully passed me on finish straight. But on lap 8, Bratwurst laged out. I really don't know what happened. During last 2 laps, I had tyre problems and I was happy to hold 1st position before much faster Hyper. One more lap and I could be 2nd.
I've looked on the layout. My notes - tyres in first chicane - no problem. Cones at oncoming the oval - I really don't like this. You can really go wide there, but I think that this isn't major problem of KYGP. Look at F1s at Monza, when outcoming variante Ascari. They are going wide same as there, without any penalties. Chicane behind 2nd split - looks good, really nice prevention against cutting. Tyres in the last technical part of circuit before finish straight looks good too, but maybe tyres on left could be more distanced from track.
My vote is the second one - leave the track as it is. I've learned the track HL valid - that means the fastest way, with little touch of thing on the ground with black-yellow stripes, which I don't know how to term. But I don't mind if you'll use layout - if you'll share it.
Normally I don't participate this pre-race discussion, but today I'll change it. I feel very strong before last race, however FZ's will be stronger there then yesterday. I did a few laps during afternoon and my lap times looks very promising. I can't wait.
Race:
Start -> finish. Almost perfect performance except laps 13-14, when I explored Westhill grass. MrSkill was 6-7 secs behind, so this did mean nothing. Championship standings looks great now. I'm looking forward to KYGP, one of my favourite tracks.
