What is RO?

I was watching the texas race live, and in the pre-race show they talked about the fencing. One thing they said was was that they might consider moving the poles to the outside of the fence. I guess that might help.

I agree, I remember watching the press conference revealing the investigation into the crash and they said that the crash was just a "Freak Storm" and just a build up of perfect events which caused the crash (3 wide pack racing, 225 MPH speeds). It was also unlucky that his head had hit the pole on the fencing. It was just a big freak accident.

You see nascar still racing at daytona and talladega and they are dangerous tracks and have a lot of common, huge crashes.

Here is my little say in this thread.

There was this game released in 2003 called Nascar Racing 2003 Season (AKA NR2003 (youtube it))

It is still very actively played around the world (and me). The company that made the game doesn't even exist any more.

There is a free demo that you can get on the net, just do a quick search.

The thing I am trying to say is,

Just because a game is very old, doesn't mean that it is getting less people playing it. NR2003 is actually a couple of months older than LFS. (The first official release.)

Edit: It is also very alive because It is partially open source and there have been a lot of mods updating and making new tracks and cars made by the general public.

Here in Australia the first race will be starting around 10:30 AM on sunday (live) so I will definitely be watching. Pretty much all of the nascar/indycar races are in the early monday morning (if it is a sunday race.)

It won't happen though since it is a street circuit and is only built for once a year for 4 days. And that is the V8 weekend. And that is the first race of the season...

I reckon ambrose is gonna win. He was pretty strong in the all-star race. He has always been pretty good at 1.5 mile tracks.
