Damn i'm only still figuring out how awesome this game is. ~60 players playing and one round lasts almost 2 hours..
No words describe the awesomeness of this game :P
Team Vires take another step towards becoming a professional Sim racing team by closing a deal that was set in motion months ago with UGC Gaming. Most of the terms of the deal are private, but Vires will gain a Live for Speed private server to train in quiet for future races – something which had hindered us heavily in previous leagues. Underground Gaming Community currently host a number of highly successful Cruise servers and we hope this is the start of a fruitful relationship between us.
John Hockett of UGC “We are currently hosting cruise servers for a number of LFS teams but this is our first step to support a professional racing team, however we also host Minecraft servers. This is the start of a lasting co-operation I am sure”
James Peace “More exciting times for Team Vires with some great additions of Niclas, Matias and Jere in recent weeks and now sealing this deal is great! Preparation for future events can now be taken to a much higher level”
Miro Rauti “"I am very happy that finally we have someone to invest us a server, it will be a great help when practising for league races."
I've played on server with less than 60 ping only..
Apparently I cant enter any session, before I even Deploy to battle, it kicks me out. There's a notice board on website though, that they are working on it.
I've re-installed them many times.
And after googling, it seems that EA servers have "high traffic" which causes me heavy lag, and after 5-10 minutes it kicks me from the server / I get a timeout. Ill try again today :P So it shouldn't be a hardware problem
E: Just entered a server half-full, it lagged a bit every now and then but I was able to stay in server for good 20 minutes, didn't get kicked, but I have to leave now P:
It was a misunderstanding from our team, I accept that fact but I could not have done anything differently since I was in the car, not looking for the info on IRC, Stream or tracker. And afterall, we kept it clean, I tried to overtake a couple of times, ending in a laghit and spdo being a bit on the fault turning into me (imo after checking replay) so I would just call it racing incident rather than bad behaviour.
I'm kind of surprised Reno didn't protest me, even though he was so mad at me in MSN after the race for the contact between me and Mikko, after me being told that tracker and remote (and of course server) show that spdo is one lap down (and that is what i believe in, im in the car, do not blame me for someone giving me wrong info reno thank you), so basically i flashed lights and kept honking for spdo battling with me without me knowing he was on same lap, and actually after watching the replay it was spdo turning into me.
On the race then, I had done 2 laps with GT300 on saturday night, and on sunday I was working and got home around 18.10, did few laps offline and got into the car, now what's that for a preparation. Sadly Arco put in the car just not enough fuel, 2% down, and well, after the good showoff in Stream with me dennis vortex and core, i started to get the clutch game on and lose 20-30secs per lap and eventually running out of fuel in the last turn. (note: i had 3.2% fuel for the last 3 laps, with 1.7% usage per lap :P)
