Quote from el pibe :well guys, here i am once again with a situation.

the psycho ex gf has broken after 10 days of zero comunication with me. She texted me that she wants to talk to me in private and that if i wish to do so, that i should reply '' yes ''. If not, i should reply with a '' no '' and tell her why i said no ( wtf? ) or just simply let the doubt eat her brains out and dont even reply at all.

the thing is, i can see that she is not going well because she wrote me a freaking novel just to say what i paraphrased above.

so far i am very keen on the dont reply at all option, but a friend told me that it is cruel, that i should just say no and end it there. Yes i know that shes not going well but the thing is, if i say no, that is too easy, its the easy way out... and i also have to explain my choice..... why should i ? i would on,ly say yes if she gives me a bj and lets me pitch my tent in her garden but that is not going to happen.

anyway, i need your help... lfsf love gurus..

Try to talk it out. If you cut communication right now, you'll have many unanswered questions.

You'd better let her find something else, you shallow man.

Quote from wsinda :People don't "battle" cancer, they are suffering from it. And if some people use the word "battle", then I suspect it's mainly as a cop-out, because they can not deal with the suffering that is involved. They twist the words so they can ignore the misery. They try to see purpose and meaning where there is none.

(Personal background: Two years ago my wife was diagnosed with colon cancer, with additional tumors in liver and lungs. Since then she has undergone surgery 4 times and has had 6 rounds of chemo. At one point we were told that a tumor couldn't be removed and she'd only have a few months to live; the doctor turned out to be mistaken. At the moment there are no tumors, but the long-term survival stats are pretty bad. Our kids aged 9 and 11 still face the prospect of losing their mother within the next coupe of years.)

Good question. And because most of us will eventually succumb to some disease or other, we're all cowards and losers in the end, right?

I fully agree. Sterkte.

Quote from sam93 :
Yeah the engines I used to build for a company I worked cost £14k finished, but was a 2.0 redtop engine and the engine would munch a VTEC lump for breakfast! Yeah, had a **** load of work done it etc, but had 220bhp at 3500rpm and that would rev out to 9500rpm. Figures was 290bhp which didn't really matter when the torque figure was at 200ft lb of torque.

220HP At 3500rpm = 447.58nm. That's more than twice as much as usual from an 2.0 N/A engine.
200lbf·ft Equals 271nm, which is far too much as well.
If it would have 290hp at 9500rpm, it would need to have 217nm at 9500rpm. That's a lot, but not impossible.

Quote from Nathan_French_14 :Some thin soft foam would do the job.

To be honest Ginho, I would just leave it off as they are such a pain in the butt. They cannot be used in the rain, as the moisture gets trapped and causes your paints lacquer to bloom, thus destroying your paintwork.

They have to be hung out to dry if they get wet. You have to remove them every time you wash the car too.

Bras are made for women.

Quote from flymike91 :maybe people don't need to live in two mile long ten level flats anyway. I think they're incredibly ugly and wasteful. People can live better and less expensively in apartments built using 21st century 'green' building techniques. They should tear down those soviet monoliths to human exploitation and build some of these.

Not exactly beautiful but who cares when the utilities are close to nothing and you're not packed in like a prison block.

*edit: Better than this for sure

I don't think so. With apartment blocks like in Sovyet Russia, you don't need a lot of room to house thousands of people.

Quote from G!NhO :Pretty neat! I only got 190kmh gps in my bimmer, 7kph less than original....

The E30 I had before this E34 was faster than other ones. I got it up to 210km/h (indicated, probably 200km/h fo' real) easily. It would have probably topped out at 210 real km/h.

But hey, that engine had only done 150000km, the exhaust didn't have a catalytic converter and I gave it a full service a few weeks before that run.

Quote from G!NhO :Haha! 1350kg with 114hp right? My jetta is 938kg with 90hp, but it's an automatic.... So slow. Both of my cars will not reach 200kph.

Not really that expensive.

Mine is pretty fast. I managed to get it up to 200km/h (GPS verified) on the Oberhausen straight.

Quote from G!NhO :Just bought a new car so no thanks, its a 520i right?
Always wondered what the insurance and tax is?

Mine with a hood bra, i love it and yes it is not only for looks.

It's a 518i. Under the bonnet you'll find an M43 engine which was introduced in 1993. It does 0-100km/h in 10,8 seconds and it'll outrun both your cars to 200km/h.

Insurance costs me 53 euros a month and because it weighs 1350kg it costs 55 euros a month to own.
