Quote from logitekg25 :all bumpers have to be able to sustain a 5 mph impact without any damage to be allowed in the united states, so i guess there wouldnt actually be any damage

Well, if you don't mind paintwork, then no damage would be done

Quote from AudiBG :Am I the only one bored of drifting videos with dubstep soundtracks?

Otherwise nice video, the camera angles were very good.

4/5 from me, because of the soundtrack.

You're the only one who can't hear difference between dubstep and industrial rock

Quote from spacedskunk :The one thing that bugs me about iPhone owners is the fact that instead of saying "I will text him/her", it gets extended to "I will text him/her on my iPhone"..."I'll call them on my iPhone"....just say phone ffs!

Yup! That drives me crazy too!

Quote from Boekanier :gggrrrr

hum... are not inverted, but Flipped. thanks

about her eyes. they are a bit glassy.
I do not know how to solve.

Maybe try to take reflection properties from glass, just don't do it transparent and add eye texture to diffuse.

Simple private helmet skin request

Hey guys. Could somebody help me and create private helmet skin for me, cause I really suck at skinning Helmet should have similar style to that black AE86 has, black with colourful graphics (pic attached). I don't think that it would be very difficult to make, as graphics are pretty simple. Also it would be nice if it had my name written somewhere in the bottom. I would really appreciate your work, so thanks in advance!

Thanks man, finally got it working Works fine, 132ms seems fine to me.
Also as I had some problems with it so I'll provide small tut how to run it:
1. Download OG version (outgage)
2. Make copy of cfg.txt (lfs install folder)
3. Open cfg.txt (original one)
4. Find lines which say "Outgage ..." and replace all of them (Outgage lines) with these:
OutGauge Mode 2
OutGauge Delay 1
OutGauge IP 127.0.0.1
OutGauge Port 35555
OutGauge ID 1

5. Fire up LFS, join track
6. Launch this app, set your bounce time (find such with which engine doesn't stall, for me it's 132ms)
7. Press activation button, by default it's "Home"
8. Enjoy!

What's so special about that? In Lithuania you can get 80mb/s for about 12 british pounds and 200mb/s for 25

Second try. This time I've changed tarmac material, so it looks way more realistic

Quote from amp88 :Increasing timing precision to thousandths of seconds has been discussed a bit before. The problem is that to have an accurate position every 1000th of a second the physics loop would have to run at 1000Hz (an increase of 10x the current rate). This would further increase the burden on the CPU, which is already fairly heavy. The increase in precision (which would definitely be useful in certain scenarios especially) is desirable, but not if it comes at the expense of requiring much more powerful PCs to run LFS.

Well, I found that iRacing's physics engine rate is 360Hz and it still can count time in thousands of second.

Took my new car for a spin and stopped in city for some photoshooting, more photos to come
P.S. The scene isn't my, dunno where did I get it, because I found it in my 3d stuff folder
Few suggestions (timing / setup storage)
iFastLT
S2 licensed
As I didn't find it in the list or in this sub-forum, so here it is:
1. To make time recording more accurate, like to measure time in not hundreds of a second but in thousands, because it happens often that in qualifying, times of few drivers are the same.
2. Setup sorting, for example each car in setup folder would have it's separate folder and in each folder you would be able to make more folders, just to organise your setups, people could have possibility to sort their setups by tracks, leagues and etc.
So it's just my 50 Cent... Oh snap, it should be 2 cents
