Actually it was. Perfect drivability. My first winter with it was on Potenza RE050A's. They're a summer only tire and I was fine, even in blizzard conditions. Just had to be sensible with the skinny pedal on the right (considering the car would spin in 3rd in dry weather).
Once I put snows on it, it was unstoppable in the snow.
Nah, I loved the 3, don't get me wrong. It scooted, especially with the mods I had done. However, I dropped my payment in half and have a bit more breathing room in this economy and (as you can see) just as much fun potential.
For a while since reinstalling XP Pro on my C drive, I've been getting issues while online playing LFS (which is installed on my D drive).
I decided that maybe reinstalling LFS would fix the issue.
Unfortunately after downloading the installer, which uses 7-Zip I guess, I get an error message. The window says "7-Zip: Diagnostic messages". Inside the window I have 1,600 errors (numbered 0 to 1,599), each one on a different item and each one saying that there is a data error in some type of file.
When I try to run LFS, I get an error that states: "Could not open file : data\veh\XF.vob".
In order for you to see the skin, it has to be loaded onto your computer. That's the way it seems anyways. Maybe they could have some sort of encryption, done after you upload it, but it would most likely just be a pain in the rear.
Here's a video of a car with an open wastegate. It also happens to have a broken front differential, so it's RWD instead of AWD. There is a swear word in the video, so if you're sensitive to that, don't watch it. It's pretty amusing, as he's just beating the hell out of the car.
I've been helping a friend with his Eclipse GSX and having no airbox is sweet, you can really hear that turbo hiss. Now to try and get him to install a larger turbo with an external gate, dumped to atmosphere.
Leaner does equal more heat, but leaner gives BETTER fuel efficiency and MORE power, until stoic ratio is acheived. From that point and leaner, it is worthless to remove fuel from the mixture becuse you're risking detonation.
I think an engine creator would be wonderful and loads of fun.
I know it would be difficult for some people to figure it out, but if you have some default selections, they would have something to start with and would be able to make small adjustments to parameters and I bet they would eventually figure stuff out.
An other way to make people that are less knowledgeable able to remain competitive would be to simply have a check box when creating a server to allow or disallow modified engines.
If anyone has ever used Desktop Dyno (link), you would most likely agree that everything that it allows you to do may be sufficient, although I would like to see a wider range of compressors or maybe custom compressors that you can design your own flow chart.

last summer i was racing at the LimeRock road course here in CT almost every weekend and was up at New England Dragway in NH almost every Wednesday night...so yes...i do race my car quite often [/quote]
What color is your Neon? Is it blue?
I go to NED quite often, although mostly for sport compact events and with my DSM club on the second Wednesday of every month. I don't race with my current car, but I will hopefully be picking up something to race with in the near future.
An extra 5 PSI would be fine on the turbo, it's the engine running lean that would suffer. You would constantly hit fuel cut, totally killing your accelletation.
