So far my fav combo is Cobra 427 (no the R/C) on nordschleife and the ferrariLaferrari

GlovePIE appears to have no vJoy support. You'll need FreePIE.

Install both. Go to vJoy config and make sure at least one virtual device is created. The default setup should be fine. You can turn on all the axes just to be safe.

Start FreePIE and load a script. The mouse driving one on #1 will do. Run script from the menu (or F5?). Then go to NFSS2 and config your controls.


NFSS2 has very little steering angle for the animation, so mouse steering would be a bit awkward.

thanks worked, and true have little angle of animation still is much better that use keyboard to steer

For anyone who already downloaded a patch with textures, you don't need the entire TEX version again. You can use the smaller test patch and just download these two updated textures and save them in your data\dds folder:

i tryed to race online on public server, was the worst experience of all, i think the worst idea was put this sim on steam

70% of the drivers are ramming each other and crashing to anyone

but just got my first clean race on the bmw in brands hactch was really awesome, if we can make a server password protected we can have tons of fun

i have to admit after reading about the new test patchs and the update of westhill and now this progress report motivated me again to race more frenquently

also noticed how motivated is the community about this news and how much old ppl came back and post good stuff about the upcomming patch

scavier, i hope your motivation keeps firing up, happy to see lfs on rails again.
