Because we've heard many voices about another GTi Endurance race here's what we're gonna do:
- next week we will have two races on AS3R, two cars available in GTi Masters format with top 15 reversed for second race
- in September or October on one of free Saturdays we will run an endurance race, looks like it will be 4 hour one. We've chosen a few tracks, tell us in #gti-endurance what you think about them and write your proposals. - SO5, SO5R, FE3R, FE4 with slow chicane and oval part, AS7, AS7R. There will be signups and prequalify like last year, so check out our discord channels.
Next Thursday Fragmaster's GTi Thursday will celebrate its 200th event. Because of that on July 29th, there will be something special and challenging.
There will be two back to back races on the same track. The choice of track and first used car belongs to winner of Thursday race!
Schedule:
1. Qualifications for first race start as usual at 18.30 UTC. (one hotlap mode)
2. Race 30 minutes long.
3. Car switch.
4. 15 minute open track qualifications to set the grid for race #2.
5. Race 30 minutes long.
Reward: Driver who scores highest sum of points in both races will be named GTi Master on discord. JOIN IT HERE. It's required for racing.
Thank you expr.
Even though I am fine with default champstat styles this new update will save me some time from adding basic responsiveness every week to event's files.
Thank you,
it is working as intended now. champstat gives correct results on replays from 0.6V and replays before new LFS release provide same results as on version c so no bug reports about backwards compatibility from me.
I noticed today that since new LFS version release champstat doesn't recognize qualify and race replays. I put replays from two sessions as I always have and I get following error
entering event directory: event09
event-specific options detected.
parsing MPR: 9_FRAGMASTER_AS4R_GTI_Q.mpr
parsing MPR: 9_FRAGMASTER_AS4R_GTI_R.mpr
fatal error: multiple race replays in .\event09
It looks that champstat doesn't recognize qualifications replays from race replays.
What I did next:
I removed point settings about qualifications and removed qualify file and ran champstat again. I got race results correctly (attachment race.html)
Decided to see how putting qualify file back and removing race file will affect things. Result was getting qualify result formatted as it was a race (attachment fake_race.html).
Got interested a bit and decided to check setup list of that player. Here's handy link for you: https://www.lfs.net/files/setups/user/125244.
As you can see many setups of this player do not have any name next to them and also can't be downloaded. Among them there is a setup MandulAA is referencing - it's the first setup after you search "SO4R". Sets with names can be downloaded.
Here's example of player who shared setups and all of them are downloadable: https://www.lfs.net/files/setups/user/550896
Start of the new year is also start of new season of GTi Thursday. To kick it off we'll make little series in the GTi Master format. Every week in January there will be two races. Race day will start with usual qualifications, then around 25 minute race, little break and another 25 minute race (laps will be set accordingly).
In every race there will be one pitstop required to make, and second race's grid will be result of first race with top15 in reversed order (done by airio, so don't spectate before second race starts).
Schedule:
Jan 7 - KY1 with XFG
Jan 14 - WE2R with XFG and XRG
Jan 21 - SO5 with XFG and XRG
Jan 28 - FE4R with XRG
Start time: 19:30 UTC
Reward: Driver who scores highest sum of points in every round will be named @GTi Master here on Discord.
