[W00T] Motorsport would like to welcome a new racer:
[W00T] James (pacesetter)
We wish you well mate, and I hope you enjoy your time with us! Don't forget guys we are still interested in a few more drivers regardless of ability etc. We have a server now and if you are interested don't hesitate to contact one of us.
I'm sure some of you guys will have seen us around on track, we are a group of freinds who love nothing more than racing on LFS,. For a while now we have been a 3 man team.
Now however, [W00T] Motorsport are looking for new members, with a possible drive in the upcoming Desire of Patience 24 Hour race. We are a UK team and would preferably invite British drivers, although foreign drivers are very much welcome. We are searching for drivers capable of lapping in the XFR at Aston Grand Touring quickly on an endurance setup, however we race a wide variety of combos and try to be as quick as we can in as many cars as possible!
In case you haven't heard of us, we recently came runners up in the DoP 6h of Westhill in the XFR and 5th (after a disconnect and lots of bad luck! in the 12h) Our current members are...
[W00T] Ben (jaws99) [W00T] Chris (wilko868) [W00T] Dan (dan_b23) [W00T] Jaxx [W00T] J.Ward (jwardy)

Setups and setting up is also a desirable trait. We will soon be getting an 11 slot server (a website may be in the pipeline too!) and would like to see any applicants drive. Please PM me or [W00T] Chris (Wilko868) if you are interested in trying out.
I third that, I've had time to reflect on my stupid jeuvelile comments of earlier and I apologise, guess i just got caught up in the excitement of it all.
If Glock did lift, then shame on him but until we get some replys it's pointless speculating.
Feel really sorry for Massa, without the Ferrari's reliability problems the championship would have been his. Well done to Lewis though, nobody can begrudge he is a fantastic talent
Spent a year watching an F1 season and it is spoiled by a stupid decision from Timo Glock. He should be ashamed of himself, what gives him the right to swing a championship in that way.
ok I've done the tests. Hopefully will see you guys in Q1 tomorrow!
Just wanted to wish the lads that get through to Rockingham good luck! I've never driven a manual before so that would be a laugh... Can't imagine my 6th form would be massively happy to give me a day off anyhow.
Oh no! Just got back from a team building trip to find I had an email to be invited through to the testing stage, but I see that the deadline was 12pm today!!
Am I ok to still go through with the psychometric testing or is it too late?
Hamilton cut the final chicane and therefore needed to give the position back to Kimi. He did this however, in a way which let him past, but still gave Lewis a big chance of passing Kimi into the next corner. He should have backed out and tried to pass somewhere else, and then he wouldn't have got the penalty.
Sometimes you just need to think about something before you make a decision. Hamilton obviously thought he was doing the right thing by letting Kimi back through, but then immediately attacked him at the next corner. to be honest I wasn't at all suprised by the decision after the race, I could have seen it coming.
I have driven at Warden Law for 2 years now, and I think I've only had about 2 fully dry days out of 30 ish days of testing/racing! It's a strange place weather wise, so consider yourself very lucky if you get a dry day!
I've just had a bloody awful race. Going into T1 i was in the lead and then the guy in p2 came in far too hot and gave me no room causing me to spin which caused a massive pileup! Then later in the race someone left me room to pass on the inside and then decided to shut the door as I was alongside him. Grrr
I was on pole position through a good quali time and the race was mine to lose to be honest. It was going well and I had pulled a gap of 6 seconds to 2nd place when turn 1 struck, causing me to go on to the grass. I rejoined in 2nd place about 2 seconds behind the leader and 4 laps later went by him. I'[ve been struggling a bit with consistency and making mistakes but managed to get a really good string of solid laps together!
1.04.6
1.04.7
1.04.6
1.04.4
1.04.6 and so on... So it took a bit if time getting my first win but I eventually got it and I hope to see some of you out there soon
What would you guys say is a respectable lap for the Rookie Solstice at Lime Rock. I've just ran 7 laps not knowing the track at all and managed to get down to a 1.06.2. I imagine you can get below 1.04's?
After 7 laps in the game I absolutely love it, the FF is absolutely sublime and the bumps on the track at Lime rock are amazing!
Finally coming up to getting my first car and it's looking like it's going to probably be a banger! I'm on a tight budget with karting and everything so I think I may go for an old Rover Mini, i'll take whatever I can get really!
Sam could you count me out of this weekends qualifying/racing I'm actually racing my kart on sunday so wouldn't be able to make the race if I got through.
Hope this doesn't count me out of the whole competition though Good luck all!
