and all he paid for it was ONE euro...
but don't forget that even if the development was done with Honda's money, Ross Brawn was the one that transformed the team of making the worst car on the grid into a championships winning team...
the first thing Merc do after buying Brawn is to try and put two german drivers into the team... I'd prefer they to keep Button, it's not like they can't afford it anymore...
apparantly they've now got themselves an exception clause in the contract saying something like since ROC is kinda a charity events, he's allow to drive something other than a Fiat/Ferrari...
yeah, Gronholm was uselessly slow on both nights...
they should've used the Focus WRC whenever it's Finland's turn, now that would be fair~! XD
last year Lewis only bothered to turn up for some demonstation run in his McLaren (apparantly cos he needed to go to the Sport Personality of the year wateva later that night), and this year either no one invited him or he don't like to come and potentially get beaten~ XD or most probably there are also some kinda lines in his contract saying he can't drive anything but a Merc...
the Brawn has to be heavy, if they went light but got past at the start by some heavier KERS cars then they'll be very screwed. The worrying thing for them is Alonso with his KERS is not far behind, and is only 10kg lighter...
I was kinda surprised Lewis was so light, but perhaps they're betting on Heikki to hold everyone up with his heavy car to allow Lewis to sprint away at the front, and hopfully open up a massive gap over whoever got held up by Heikki by his first pitstop...
lets not forget Mad Max hates Ron Dennis back then (and most probably still does now), and he also made it very clearly that how he thinks of Flavio.
the one thing in common is/was that they are the team principals of the respective teams.
and if we go back to the spy-gate, all the FIA could prove was that McLaren had some Ferrari's stuff, without proving any intention or whatever else, McLaren got penalised heavily...
so if we apply the same logic here, all the FIA would do is "prove" Piquet crashed deliberately, without proving whether he do it by himself or was ordered to do so by Renault, to punish Renault heavily and screw Flavio up...
yeah, despite Foce India being the quickest of all in S2, where all the corners are... but that's during today's practice anyway, things will most probably change again tmr~
but in qualifying the KERS will be a major boost, those KERS cars are half a sec up on everyone else in S1 today, assuming only when they're using the "double shot" strategy...
Renault have kicked him out, but Flavio still has the contract of being his manager. So his racing career is pretty much over too anyway, so it wouldn't really matter...
comparing that to Jensen Button, well it ain't bad at all~
PS. Toyota usually had strong race pace but a disastrous qualifying (lately anyway), now that they got both cars up the front somewhere, I'm betting them to dominate.
And I do hope the KERS equiped Lewis can get in front of the Red Bulls at the start, which would help Button greatly~
not trying to argue with you here but I've always been mystified about these "100kg on the brake pedal stuff". When they calculated it, would the g-forces generated from the braking affect the pedal pressure calculated~? lets say if there're 5gs during braking, would this has any affect on the "100kg pedal pressure", which means there were actually only 20kg~?
but it's also basically the same on all ovals at America~?
seems like they aren't going to do anything to change it, until someone get killed anyway...
I think Davidson would much prefer to be doing the driving rather than talking through... he's way too young for a racing driver to become a full time commentator isn't he~?
well unless your name is Alex Yoong and you can't find a drive anywhere...
which is expected of him when he's down the field...
he must be crying big time too after getting into the side of Fisi~ oh no my car is stuffed cos of some stupid **** who turned in on me...
