And the worst thing about old dials in F08 is the fact that it has fuel information on steering wheel. That doesn't work for people who drive without it visible. That makes me especially happy about new dashes, that there aren't any informations on steering wheel anymore.

Looks like Victor can't do a lfs world update without getting people all excited about a patch, lol Can't wait to see what new features there are.

Few notes:

- Some errors in transition/transitions.
- Deinterlace the vid. I am not sure how to do that in premiere when exporting with divx/xvid, but you can try to export raw movie, then compress it in virtual dub with deinterlace filter on.
- Camera movement could be smoother.

Other than that, I've been left with so positive impressions that I didn't find many errors. Very well made.:bannana_g

p.s.: I see people are starting to use "camera rotation" effect now. :P

If no one have noticed - discussion about drifters/grippers happens on forums only. I've never, I repeat - I have never seen someone doing discussion about drifters/grippers differencies in LFS. More to that, I have never seen a single "gripper" looking down at me, because I also drift a lot in LFS. In LFS we are all drivers(drivers and wreckers(on s2 too ! ) maybe ), on forums we are grippers and drifters, so it seems at least. . .

I think there's no need to call things lame, when you have no idea about them.

Seeing what Scawen has done alone as a programmer to LFS S2 as a whole, it should be a pimple.(Aka not too hard)

Sometimes before joining a server I go to lfs world and check who is on a server x/b/c etc.

It would have been very cool if it was possible to see who is on the server, while browing server list. Let's say in this way:

When mouse cursor is on a server name for more than 2-5 seconds, show a transparent box with players list. Then keep showing the box for 10-15 seconds unless the player moves the cursor so it is not on a "box with server name". Hope you get my idea.. If for some people it would be annoying, there is always a possibility to make this optional, right?

What's the point of discussing drifters - racers conflict"? I race, enjoy it a lot(probably more than drifting) and not a single racer has said a bad thing to me, even tho "I am a drifter". I think that drifters may be disliked on forums. But when it comes to playing lfs, if one is doing the right thing, he will not be hated for his "official drifter/racer" personallity.

So... Guys*.. Wouldn't it be easier to just call people drivers? As I am LFS driver who enjos racing and drifting. Guy XXX is a driver who enjoys.. Wrecking etc.

It would have been cool, if it was possible to zoom on numerickeypad too. Right now, it is impossible for my fingers to move the camera and zoom at the same time. Why? Because my right hand is on mouse, which moves camera too.

Haven't seen the trailer(very low speeds from rapidshare here), but I think that moving pit door trick(which was done in another movie before) can be done by going up or down with the camera. Was it shift + cursors? Don't remember exactly.
