I REALLY hope they aren't trying to release S3 with the new physics patch (but I think they are trying). Because they would have to finish Rockingham and another new car (for S3) along with the Scirocco and we dont want to wait till 2012


I will be happy with another progress report to see how development is going and what is left. (and very happy with a TEST patch soon*hint*)

Almost 2 months have passed since last report, I wonder how is the development going


Can we at least have a TEST patch, even if it's filled with bugs please?

The problem is that LFS dev want to do EVERYTHING at once.

- Tyre heating and cooling -> Patch 0.6A
- AI driver improvements -> Not important, Patch 0.6B
- Limited setup system -> Maybe with patch 0.6A, can wait to 0.6B too.
- Suspension updates -> Patch 0.6B or C
- VW stability control -> Last thing to worry about, patch 0.6Z


Most of the things can wait for later, because it takes YEARS to release it otherwise. Oh, why don't you annunce and start doing night mode and the other 6 vehicles that are unplanned yet, so you can do it all at once and release it by 2020?

It's not going to be released soon. Because it will be first released as a TEST patch and then over 9000 fixes in TEST patches.

I agree with OP. I'm not really an old LFS'er but I can't seem to find any (S2) servers with people that play big tracks with road cars in race mode. All the servers are about serious racing
