@ Burnzoire: Thanks. Yea, helmet skins are hard to do and require more time on alignment than regular cars I'd say. I can always try I guess. I am yet to make a new release, hehe.

Here's an approximate comparison of a standard & widescreen monitor. You get black bars on either one really.


(EDIT: And LFS will give more height visibility on standard, or more width visibility on widescreen (cause more wide)). Go with your taste and deskspace )

I'll just say one thing... Get a much bigger hard drive than that. In the hundreds of GB. They are getting cheap too.

...But I always have something with governmental ads about speeding and car-related stuff... How bad can they get. 1- why did he turn left? The dog was already basically off the road. Well, as I have posted in the FOX thread [ LINK ], in order to commemorate the 25 years since Gilles Villeneuve has gone, I decided to release the skins I had made.

Already 25 years has passed since the tragic accident of May 8th in Belgium whom took away Gilles Villeneuve. On this date, in order to commemorate the day of his passing, I've decided to release the skin I had made close to a year ago for the FOX, representing Villeneuve's 1981 Ferrari (and matching helmet).

Well, I got my new video card last week and installed it as well. So far it's just great. I haven't tried it with LFS yet however, but with the new Command & Conquer 3, I wasn't able to play the game before, and now I can play with basically highest settings.

Well, first, both of these cards seem to be dual DVI, when I have a VGA LCD monitor. Secondly, both of them are on ZipZoomFly, and they don't ship to Canada.

Anyways, I bought the one I previously mentioned, and can't wait to receive it!

How does this look? XFX GeForce 7600 GS LINK... A little more pricey than I'd want, but I guess I can pay it off when I'll start working. I hope it'll work on my motherboard though... Yet it should :S.

I am rather interested in playing games that are kinda new. I just bought C&C3 the other day. Right now, it runs good on lowest settings, but I kinda want a bit more graphics-wise through the card. And really, I don't have any money for a new system anytime soon. They are at least 1K, and I have no money, and have a car to maintain, and college-university to pay, so... I'm in a dilemic situation, haha.

Well, basically, I am thinking of getting a new video card for my system, as the one I have right now, nVidia GeForce FX 5200 128Mb AGP, is rather killing appearance of various games.

The only thing, is I don't have much money. So really, I'd have to get a good card, but very cheap. And I have no money to get a new system either.

I'd usually go for nVidia cards, but I've observed that ATI cards are cheaper for some reason. The only thing is that I have no idea how the number hierarchy works with ATI. How to know what card is better than the other . Any comments on this?

Anyways, I'm open to any suggestions as to what card to get, at rather low cost. The card also has to be AGP, because, well, that's the only slot I have.
