There's more factors than fuel and driving. In my line of work I drive about 1000km to 3000km per month, during the fall months when I don't need A/C nor the engine/me need the Weber (extra engine/me heather) I can do ~700km/per tank, during the winter when I need the Weber during driving and the engine(/(me) needs it to be running for half an hour before start in the mornings, I do about 550km per tank.
Besides that, there's a factor what one calls "a tank" it depends on, is your car on a up or a downhill when filling up .
They showed it here in Finland too, watched some eps halfway, and decided I saw this 10 years ago (Kids) and now I'm too of an oldfart for Bold&Beautiful Jr.
Can't wait for Stargåte: Universe to start! :hyper:
You "can't" measure fuel's effect on mpg in real life conditions, you need to do it in lab conditions to get accurate measurements. Too many variables in real life.
For instance: Toyota Prius 2008 model is rated for 46 MPG (Imp. combined) Hypermilers do 136 MPG (us?) in the prius. Clarkson did 17 MPG (imp?) versus the M3 (19MPG) on the Top Gear track. Nearly 10 fold difference on driving style alone.
If that is what is meant with this thread don't bother. That was more like driving on wet tarmac. Snow depending on texture is from really ..... slippery to sort of solid gravel with good grip.
When the wheels have already broken traction before the torque reaches to the guy holding the car "it's not that hard". Put a 4x4 even only in RWD mode with low crawl gears and he won't be able to hold it.
Intro to Cannon Fodder 1. I was amazed when I heard it for the first time, "proper" music from my comp instead of beeps. Silly me being oblivious to .mods and Amiga 500 being used to make music you hear on the radio by professional musicians.
I can't remember the game's name but it was sidescrolling car game for Amiga 500 where you jumped a Willy's Jeep over a obstacles, it had a really nice beep-ty-beep type music in one of its levels you could whistle to it and I did... Later when I got older I saw the movie where the music was from, The Bridge on the River Kwai
Yay for newfangled features. I had a moving wallpaper already with Win98. With no 3rd party programs. Active Desktop + HTML page with <img dynsrc=...avi width=1280 height=1024> or somesuch. Still have the files somewhere
Remove the PS3 usb driver, it caused problems for my cousin too. Use USB->PS/2 adapter to get keboard and mouse working if they don't work in safe mode.
Check that your is in router mode and not bridged/dhcp disabled or that your modem is connected to the WAN port.
You could also check if you can choose a less crowded channel, dunno does D-link have such option. Tomato firmware in my WRT54GL has a wireless site survey option where you can see what channel nearby WLANs use and then choose a unused channel.
Oh.. if it's big files it will be slow.. if I move ~700 megs between my laptop and desktop PC it takes about 7 minutes if recall correctly. Nothing here though is draft-N.
ed: 0 replies when I started writing my reply.. slow? noo......
Imo there hasn't really been beauts since 1995 or so.

Ok, I admit, I have curious perversion for Plymouth Superbird
Of the new ones pretty much only Mercury Marauder (3rd gen) and Holden Monaro (also 3rd gen) scratched my itch.
Nice track, took some tries to get no mishaps lap. Wonder how many times Ken Block practiced his practice video Apparently it's even stick together of several different clips.
I was selected to student body at the business school I studied, even thought in my speech I told I was the worst possible candidate
I was at my fathers autoshop when Mika Salo came there
Painter Juhani Palmu gave me his business card when me and my father met him and his son queuing to Finnjet autodeck and later saw him on the boat, when we were returning from FIM gathering in Netherlands
I have fixed Harri Toivonen's computers
I was on the Jyrk: music show on the telly
I helped to wallmount a flatscreen TV to Sunrise Avenue's drummer's living room
I guess those sidekicks have not gotten the idea of the show, it's to make one off cars, it's not a mechanic shop, autoshop, but a chop shop like Leepu has said.
That or yet another near bone stock Golf looking car, that the world is full of? I'll take the Volcano. If you want proper sleepers and restorations go watch Overhaulin' or the late Boyd Coddington's show or dozens others.
If only Bernie had more say in the cars so they'd be more dailydrivers than rolling chassies with engines/undrivable show cars.
Some pointers from me, as I failed my 1st bike driving test*. Make sure the fuel valve is ON. Or even on RESERVE if you want to be sure, the last thing you want is the bike to stall on a intersection because of you left the fuel valve on wrong position.
Don't drive like it's you driving, drive like the dude behind. If the dude behind has to stop at a intersection or give a away to a pedestrian, you've basically failed the test.
* Even though I drove a moped for some 10000kms+ before I took the bike test.
