Rant follows, those with thight schedules feel free to skip post.
And from what I've read the Programmer Forum they all know it and many even welcomed the changes. If you have beef with how LFS is developed come back in $YEAR_LFS_IS_FINISHED and has been stamped as "final", then you have legitimate reason to whine&gripe if major functionality changes is brought with new patches.
I guess that was meant as in: when you're using the views intended for driving.
But if you're driving/spectating/viewing replay from the shift+u or TV view, sometimes it gets cut off because there's already maximum amount of sound generating cars.
GTR1 was when I got it (as gift, I wouldn't have bought it myself) was 50€ (34£) and I guess GTR2 was around similar price when it came. So 50€+50€=100€ (68£). So far LFS has cost me 35€ (24£). So how's it cheaper?
Liked very much. Especially the fact that you can't hog every gun and thing you find. You have to think a little what you need
Minor spoiler folllows: The ending felt very weird and the story line incomplete like only watching the first 30 minutes of a movie.
Read the walkthrough, and there apparently is several endings in the game. Just so you know if you choose the same route I did, and feel the story left incomplete. Prolly that's partly because I inadvertently skipped bunch of the missions and didn't have all the better armor you might have gotten. (The Brain Scorcher and following missions were a bitch with only the suit I got from the dead Ghost guy and the non-bulletproof anti-radiation/etc suit. )
I was fearing that I couldn't play this at all with my crappy PC (XP1800+/384MB/GF4TI4400), but everything off and on minimum. FPS was mostly playable...
With a title like "My internet innocence " I was expecting words that were new for you FAR WORSE than "pwned and a pic of copulating same species & opposite sex participants"
