You know, if you fail GenR will be always there to take the advantage of it Joke aside, start was messy, but after it the hard work came. After all the race went quite ok for us. Hats off for ineX, untouchable
I suppose you didn't see I've touched James' front and that pointed me to your car. And the control on the grass really depends on the diff tho. And where am I supposed to go? In the tyres, or turn left from the tyres and spin. Because to put so much steer onto grass is just spin factor.(I hope you understand what I mean). Anyway, don't know if it was my fault, but sorry to your team anyway.
My apologies, but I had no where to go. The chicane is not a bus stop, especially in gt1. Also I couldn't lift on the grass, because car would loose momentum, and it would be even more unstable. And going out with 100kph in a 200kph corner wouldn't be the best thing. Me and James had a contact which pointed me to the rear of your car.
I agree we lost some key players out there, but imo that helped us to improve in team work. Almost every team had ups and downs thru this year. I can't actually say our start of the year was bad. MoE, gt2ws, lfscart, gt3tcc, owrl.
And don't wanna be any rude, it's not personal or something but I'm talking from facts' side... How did Vires actually improved? I mean ok, they got some fast drivers( no doubt), more mature now. But not any strong results this year, even with those alien drivers. I still loved to race with Vires and I'm respecting them 100%, don't take it in wrong side.
But however, we are satisfied with what we achieved. After all those mistakes, we couldn't ask for more. We won our first champs this year, so we are happy that we see the result INSIDE the team. Our aim has never been the year-end awards.
This tyre would be a reason for big mess in oval aka crash. If you just don't get it right. But on the other hand, if you leave it without anything...then the buggy curb might strikes again
Good read, definitely. You made our(GenR's) racing much more interesting this year, especially in GT3TCC It's great to see you guys rising up and being more mature through the time. Good luck for the incoming year
We're happy to announce the signing of Bert Knops for R2R and Genuine Racing!
Bert, 27, is from the Netherlands and has in past times been racing various endurance events including this years Masters of Endurance 24h race and also leagues like the Super GT Series...
After the messy race, went better than expected for us. Would have great battle with ineX for the win at the end, but the circumstances had different opinion. Cya on fe3
