I think the problem you're having is that the entire car is grouped as one object. Select it then go to the Group menu then select Ungroup. You should then be able to select different parts of the car separately. Then follow the above advice.
Funnily enough, my forum has been up over 6 months and I've never had any spam bots. All I have on is the image verification thingy. It is only a small forum though...
I feel ashamed to point out that the image is not quite right. The camera is looking almost straight down but the refelection in the heart is of the scene "down the road" which would mean the track and the buildings in the reflection are actually going up in the air.
1) Yes, the servers you see in-game are the only servers.
2) You have automatically downloaded other people's skins into the "data\skins_x" folder. To use skins yourself, they need to be in the "data\skins" folder. But you need to be careful when using other people's skins as quite often people have made skins for themselves only and don't want other people using them.
It took me a few tries to figure it out too. When the magnet disappears, you have to move the mouse left and right to keep the pointer pointing straight down.
